Despite its stunning views, I unfortunately cannot recommend this cafĂ©. You would think that, given the extortionate prices, you would at least experience a friendly atmosphere or have access to the small pool - I can confirm that neither is the case. Not a single smile in sight, and eye rolls upon each interaction. After eating my rock hard âbaguetteâ, I enquired about swimming in the main pool, but was told that itâs for hotel guests only, which was disappointing but of course perfectly valid. There is a tiny plunge pool - completely empty, and so small that it almost just looks like a water feature - approximately 2 metres away from the cafĂ© seating. I sat down NEXT to this âpoolâ, and only 2 minutes later one of the staff aggressively shoos me away and tells me off for using the pool. I explained that I hadnât used the pool, I was simply sitting next to it, and she retorts in an even ruder tone. I must be very clear, that absolutely NOWHERE is a sign saying anything about these pool restrictions, by the way. While slightly unreasonably strict, I do understand the need for the hotel restrictions. However, I do not appreciate the disrespectful tone with which they were delivered. After spending over 1k baht on an underwhelming meal and drinks, to be treated like a small child, when I clearly never had any ill intentions, is a massive kick in the teeth. Please do better for other guests, as it is a shame for things like this to take away from the beautiful location...
Read moreTo the owners of Cape Sienna. I visited this cafe more than 6 years. And last 2 times when i ordered hot latte they brought very big cup full of milk with a drop of coffee. Your staff named Tina is so polite and hospitality. And last time I just asked to add a shot of espresso to make a latte (not like just a hot milk). And it was tasty, friendly atmosphere, we enjoyed our lunch.
But this time when I explained to Tina about coffee your staff named Tayla come to me from my back, interrupted me and ask: can i help? what you want? is VERY VERY RUDE! not polite. not hostility. and she add me a shot of espresso for 90 thb. itâs not about money. itâs about staff and the client. she speaks rude, not smile, very angry, she almost shouted on me. what? i am a client. i already stopped to visit your cafe last year because of Tayla. But you have a good view, tasty food and super friendly staff (everyone except of Tayla). I am very disappointed again. If the owners or HR read a reviews please pay your attention for an...
Read moreMyself, my boyfriend and his brother came here for lunch which was nice, although very expensive for what it was. We asked if we could use the pool after lunch and the waitress had said yes of course. A few minutes after we had gotten into the pool a waitress named âTideâ came over and asked us for our room number. We told her we were just guests of the restaurant and that they had only told us moments ago that we could use the pool. She immediately told us to either get out or pay 1000 baht worth of food/drink to stay (which we had almost done already) we started getting changed to leave and she watched over us making us extremely uncomfortable, and actually apologised to the other guests by the pool on our behalf, which I think was outrageous as we were only in the pool less than 5 minutes and werenât being loud etc. There are plenty of other great places nearby with better customer service and better prices. Wonât be coming back here after the way we...
