Silk Bar & Restaurant in Phuket is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the stunning design and elegant atmosphere. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between modern luxury and traditional Thai charm — ideal for a romantic dinner or a relaxing evening out.

The food was exceptional. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor — from the rich, aromatic curries to the fresh seafood and perfectly cooked meats. The attention to detail in both taste and presentation really shows the kitchen’s commitment to high-quality Thai cuisine.

The cocktails at the bar were just as impressive. Creative, balanced, and made with premium ingredients — we especially loved the signature drinks featuring local Thai herbs and fruits. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations throughout the night.

To top it all off, the views from the terrace were gorgeous — especially around sunset. It’s the kind of place where time slows down and you can just relax and enjoy the moment.

They charged 17% surcharge on everything when paying the bill without telling us. Music was ridiculously loud, and the same song just played over and over again. It was impossible to relax or talk to people at the table. We were rushed to decide if wanted to go with the set menu or a la carte. No one was given an a la carte menu, I had to go ask the bar staff for some, it felt like this was intentional to get us to spend more money. The set menu was 1500THB. They also kept pouring us sparkling water without telling anyone we had to pay for it. We had to ask several times to find out the water was not free. It was also quite a poor start the dinner, we had organised transport with the restaurant. We had 8 people and they sent a car that fit 4, when they sent a second car, they told us off for not telling them how many people would be travelling... The booking was for 8 people. If they didn't want to assume all were travelling, I feel like it would have been logical to have asked us prior. I would not recommend this place to anyone... There was an okay view of Kamala Beach when we went outside where the pool is, I would say that was the only positive thing...

If I could, I would give this place 6 stars. Was staying in the area during the end of my trip and found this place by chance. This really is a 5 star resort. I only came here for food but I imagine staying here would be even better. Our waiter on both nights was called "One." He was very attentive and just made sure that we had a 5 star experience. All the staff here were super friendly and helpful. The food was probably the best that I had sampled on my tour around Thailand. The flavours were perfect and the presentation nothing short of 5 stars. I would not hesitate to come back here again and I would seriously consider staying here given the hospitality on offer. Every single detail/request is attended to by staff here. Hats off to "One" for also arranging transport back to our hotel...
