PeaceSpaceCafe&Bar — Restaurant in Kanchanaburi Province

I traveled late into KanchanaBuri from Khon Kaen and searched for a nice place for dinner. It seems to be a perfect pick. I started off with a red wine bottle and my wife ordered a strawberry milkshake (which was more like a yogurt smoothie). Then we ordered T- bone steak which we ask what was the thickness of the steak so we can get an idea of how we wanted to be cooked. So I ordered it medium cooked. My wife ordered the Aroma Duck and we also ordered one margarita pizza to share. They presented it nicely but the food taste was a disappointment. The duck meat was shredded in small pieces that made the duck very dry. I received my T Bone and took the first bite and it was so chewy that I barely can manage to swallow. I had my wife try and she couldn’t swallow the piece of meat. I complained to the waitress and tried to explain to her how can they serve food that people cant be able to eat the quality was not good. I just got disappointed and frustrated that I wanted to just pay the bill and leave. When I received the bill and still saw the T Bone on the bill I went into the kitchen and complained to the chef. I sliced off a piece of meat that was still on the plate that the staff left on the kitchen counter for the chef to try his own dish that he served to me. I didn’t see that he can swallow his own food. He tried to explain that it was the way that it was cooked this is how the meat is blah blah. I went out of the kitchen and wanted to just leave. They served our pizza also but I lost my appetite for anything there. The service was taking a long time on figuring out what to do but all I wanted was to make a point about how they should care or have a better service mind on what they serve for there guests. I believe as a self owned restaurant in Hua-Hin I never have a guest walk out of my restaurant disappointed. They can make a complaint but the problem should be fixed in a proper way then it occurred this evening with my self as a guest at this restaurant. Not evening a manager can take the time to ask what was wrong. Very bad experience. Just expected more from the management or service team.( They just have me 30% off of the price of...

Unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy my experience there. I wanted to, and the restaurant had a good vibe/ambience, but the food and service were very bad.

We both ordered burgers, and they were awful. The buns were clearly frozen, then toasted, so they were very firm in the middle and squished on the edges. The patty was small yet overcooked. The fries were clearly just dumped from a frozen bag onto an oven tray, and were also undercooked. My fries had a hair in them.

The waiter was fairly unapologetic, and still requested that we pay for one of the burger meals despite the fact that we took one bite and left. We ended up just paying for the fries &...

The restaurant is in a busy area, and also is a part of a hotel so you can utilize their parking . outside seating is perfect atmosphere for hanging out with friends but the decoration inside of the restaurant is not my cup of tea. Food is reasonable price and simply good. Overall is just okay for me, nothing special that wows me to come back.
