The Tavern Bar — Restaurant in Kanchanaburi Province

Decor looks good, hosts are friendly enough and the booze is pretty cheap even for Thailand. Cocktails, on the other hand, are not so good. My partner ordered a couple of different ones and they were served as a glass pretty much full to the brim with spirits and tiny dashes of whatever other ingredients were required. The only other patrons there at the time seemed to be men in their fifties so it's possible that cocktails don't get requested all that often but at two hundred baht (approx £5) each if you can't do 'em right, take 'em off the menu. I dont know what to say. We waited 25 minutes for 2 burgers and they were dead cold once served. We asked if their burgers came with fries and they Said no so we ordered seperate 80 baht fries. The burgers then came with fries and look at the size of the seperate fries ordered. What a joke. The other guests decided to turn the volume fully up while we were eating so it wasn’t even possible to have a conversation. This is a top 10 worst food experience in Thailand the last 14 years so this place should really get a hang of themselves or stop...
