Good Times Restaurant — Restaurant in Kanchanaburi Province

I have been to Good Times Restaurant many times. This review, as usual, gives the highest ratings for the food, service and atmosphere. However this time I noticed on the 3,000 baht bill a 30 baht charge for ICE! Yes folks the cheap management sneak a small but nonetheless ripoff charge on your bill. It is unbelievable they charge for ice that goes in your water glass. I asked the wait staff to remove it which they did, however this imposition without notice shows a managment that is more focused on your wallet than the fair and transparent exchange of money for the excellent food their kitchen cooks. I am sure if I dine there tomorrow thr ice charge will be imposed again without notice but I hope Good Times takes note and stops this petty,...

The view, atmosphere, services, cleanliness, and is 5-star. But the food is 4. The food is kind of bland. They could have been tastier.

We got tilapia in chili Kim sauce. There was no chili or lime taste at all. The fish is juicy, fresh, and taste good. But the soup is very mild (not that it is not spicy, but more of not enough flavors)

Fish cake is good. The dipping sauce goes well with the food. It comes in donut shape.

Most food is served in nice presentations like fish cake of plain rice.

Before leaving the place, you can spend 10 baht to throw fish food in the small pond. It is a restaurant & resort. They offer many good spot for sitting around and enjoy the sunset...

Great food, Great location outside along the river. A lot of string lights overhead to create a pleasant mood and ambiance.

A duo playing lead and bass guitars sang American Rock & Roll hits in Thai Songs such as Black Magic Woman by Santana and Beatles songs were among a few of the songs played.

I had the #4 Massamen Coconut Curry which was very good and mildlt spicy. The menu said it was a 2-pepper dish for spice rating, I pointed to the 1-pepper picture and was pleased with the spice level. Along with a Singha beer, can't beat it.
