This was a gem we never would've found w/o our awesome guide Yosef.

Yall...lemme tell you about the food here. If I lived in Phuket, I would eat here every day. The place itself is very unassuming... small, quaint. The view is of a distant beachy type area but far up on the mountain. You can appreciate the beauty and serenity of the environment from here.

I ordered the spicy Thai omlette with fried chicken wings and lemme tell you ...the food was a gift from the gawds!!! Hot enough that I knew it was gonna hurt a little coming out but was soooo good going in that I didn't care. The chicken had to be marinated in some mix that was sanctified and blessed by some otherworldly food guru that has no flaws...DELICIOUS and by far my favorite meal across 4 countries visited on this trip. My hubby had larb Kai (sp?) and if I hadn't already been full from my meal, I might very well have started a battle over his that risked our new marriage with no regrets.

We ordered Thai Tea Espresso and I've been angry since we left that we didn't find anything equally as delicious in our journey.

Service was prompt but quiet. It's absolute perfection on a mountainside. ...

Last month, after seeing the Big Buddha, we wanted to eat somewhere. We found several places nearby on Google maps, but based on reviews and photos, we chose an Art cafe.

We got there about a couple of minutes before sunset. And we found amazing views, it was amazing to watch the sun go down, and at that moment you are eating the most delicious rice with tom-yam and drinking a mango shake. The food was simply amazing, during this trip it was not possible to find tastier!

We did not notice how the sun had set, and now there was no one left in the cafe except us. It became dark and scary. Not a single taxi driver agreed to come for us and take us off the mountain. We spent 20 minutes trying to find the car through popular applications, but everything was in vain.

Then we approached the kind worker of this cafe. She helped us, started asking her friends if someone could come for us. Thank her very much for that!

It seems to me that such a hospitable atmospheric place is hard to find, so I am very glad that I was able to visit here and feel like part of a big family.

Food, views, staff attitude - 10/10. Special thanks to the employee who helped us with...

Just visited tonight, it was surely one of the most beautiful night we had while we were there in Kata for a month! Amazing idea to go for the sunset, stay for dinner, their food was amazing and not over priced! Also our 1st time to try ESPRESSO Thai tea :)

BUT BE CAREFUL with the ride to go back to town with BOLT or Grab as it's difficult to find a ride after the sunset, start looking for it 30min before your departure!

This is only our negative point , as we waited over 30 mins at the restaurant until we were picked up...

Like many others, I stumbled across this restaurant after visiting the Big Buddha. I had low expectations, as I have come to assume all cafes and restaurants located near major tourist attractions are tourist traps, overcharging for sub-par quality food. Boy was I ever wrong about this place! I ordered the Tom yum mama soup as a snack before dinner, and it was so good that I ended up ordering another dish (pad krapao) and just eating dinner here! Don’t pass up this hidden gem if you are in the area and/or visiting Big Buddha!
