I had a wonderful breakfast experience at Nui's Cafe in Phuket, near Karon Beach. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that our visit was a pleasant one. The owner even took the time to provide us with fantastic local recommendations for places to explore and activities to enjoy. He was so persuasive that he almost had us considering a move to Phuket – a lighthearted moment that added to the charm of the cafe.

The food itself was excellent, with a delightful highlight being the fresh fruit offerings. The flavors were top-notch, and the prices were reasonable, making it a great value for the quality of the meal. The only minor inconvenience was that they didn't accept cards when we visited, so it's important to have cash on hand for payment.

We decided to come here because:

1️⃣ It has a great Google rating 2️⃣ It’s slightly away from the main touristy area which is what we like 3️⃣ They serve a Sunday Roast!

Let me tell you — it was a fantastic decision.

The food was delicious, and my family loved it so much they’re calling this their “local” now!

The staff are super friendly and speak excellent English. The place is colourful, warm, and relaxing, with plenty of fans to keep you cool.

We tried the English Breakfast Set Menu, and to our surprise, it came with Yorkshire Tea in a lovely teapot — just like back in the UK (maybe even better!).

We also met Richard and Nui, who are absolutely wonderful. They made us feel so welcome, like chatting with old friends.

For the rest of our stay in Phuket, we’ll definitely be coming back every day — we enjoyed every bit of it. The prices are very reasonable, and they serve both authentic Thai dishes and excellent British favourites.

Rumour has it that Nui used to work at one of Thailand’s top regional restaurants, which explains why everything tastes so good!

So glad we stopped and decided to go in here. It looks lovely from the outside and different to a lot of the other restaurants around (which is why we decided to go in, even just for a drink). The food was amazing - we had the egg fried rice with chicken, and the spicy pork with rice and it was incredible, even more so for the price! The service can’t be faulted, all the staff were lovely and welcoming - turned the fans to face us as soon as we sat down which was so much appreciated in the heat. Also never without a smile! We were lucky enough to meet one of the owners who had asked how our meal was and then we got chatting about the area and the restaurant itself. It’s his wife Nui’s restaurant and she is the Chef, which means even more care and passion goes into all the food and you can 100% tell.
