Ketho Dimsum — Restaurant in Kathu

Good food. Standard fare. Everything tasted good. Mostly clean and efficient. The bamboo steamers for the dim sum were clean. That's a total bonus.

Most staff were friendly and not dimissive of a cheaply dressed tourist like me. Didn't have a farang menu. Even a local tried to help translate for me. That says a lot. Kind and unstuffy atmosphere. Lots of locals eating there.

Only thing I didn't like and was disappointed with was when one of the wait staff standing at the service area was eating rice from the serving pot with her hands. Kinda gross. At least she turned her back while she...

This is a great place for breakfast if you love Dimsum. The price is superb about 150 baht for an average size meal. The service is good albeit a little confusing if you are not a regular. Sit down and they will come and ask you what you want to drink and then just go up to the fridges grab a tray and load up with what you want hand your tray to someone near the steamer area and then just sit back down. They will sort it all out and your food arrives really quick. This is very much a local restaurant so don’t expect much of the decor but the food...

It's fusion restaurant of dimsum, bak kut teh and big breakfast.

Dimsum is not as HongKong style. Seem like their local style dimsum. The taste of dimsum not that good as another dimsum: "Sxpxr DimSum".

But their porridge is good and recommended, nice to try.

Bak kut teh is different taste with Malaysia and Singapore. Herbal soup taste not strong as Malaysia. No try their big breakfast, no comment for that.
