Mee Ton Poe Restaurant 2 — Restaurant in Kathu

Few premises: Staff: attentive Ambience: pleasant, neat and clean Food: mediocre Price: average, in Phuket terms. I went there for the first time and I've ordered one of my favorite Thai dishes: kapao moo krob. Well, once it was served at my table I had to ask to the waitress if that was what I ordered, because I did not recognize it, and she confirmed. Kapao, or thai basil, was almost absent an replaced with a huge quantity, even though well chopped, of Thai green beans (please see the photo). Maybe I'm a total ignorant but it is the first time that I find green beans in my kapao moo krob dish. The portion was scarce, compared with the place where I normally go, in fact it was the half or less of my normal portion, and for the same price. In all frankness it tasted OK but the meat was stiff and anyway way far from my standards. I shall go there and try other things but for now I can't give it more...

We usually order food from this place in Grab. Food is delicious, presentation is beautiful and the price is cheap (60-100 baht for portion). They serve simple thai dishes like green and red curry, pork and rice, noodles, phad thai. The only food that we didn't like was seafood salad because they put too many onions in it, but all other dishes are good 🙏🙏🙏...

Affordable meal in phuket. This place offers a variety of Thai and Thai-Chinese food. We only tried their signature noodles so we aren't that sure about normal Thai menu they also serve.
