Came here for grilled meat by the beach and Met Sai Moo Kratha on Koh Samet said, “Take a seat, fam, you’re about to have a smokey seaside food coma” — and I absolutely did 🐷🔥⛱️

This place is pure island-style moo kratha chaos — plastic chairs, sea breeze, and charcoal grills that sizzle louder than my social life. I threw on some pork, squid, bacon-wrapped enoki, and let the feast begin. The vibe? Laid-back BBQ with sand between your toes and the occasional cat judging your plate 🐙🍖🌊

The sauce? Spicy, garlicky, and made me dip everything like I was baptizing it in flavor. Staff were chill, helped refill the broth when it started looking sad, and kept the vibe going even when the smoke tried to take out my eyebrows.

Left full, slightly sunburned, and smelling like grilled happiness. Moo kratha on the beach? Absolute win. Would return even if I had to crawl across sand...

For 349 baht per person you have unlimited time and access to all food item they have. You can choose between having moo krata or shabu. With an additional 50 baht you can also have a grill where you can grill prawns, squid and mussels. And with another 50 baht you will get drinks refill. The location is amazing. First time doing a buffet at Koh Samed. This place is pretty good, their seafood sauce is delicious. Starting at about 349baht a head, 199baht for my 9yr old ( who barely had anything off the grill, but went wild on the popsicles).

Focused mainly on the shrimp and mussels. Shrimps were small but tasted fresh. Mussels were frozen but no fishy taste. The marinated pork was tasty.

Sometimes it’s hard to figure out which place along the beach is worth stopping by....
