Reggae Station — Restaurant in Ko Samui

Good for view, atmosphere and drinks, but would not recommend the food, based on a very odd food experience. Having read through reviews here, I'm guessing maybe the chef was having a bad day or they suddenly ran out of ingredients but I had a panang curry that was quite literally made from just some slices of chilli and then small bits of chicken in a shockingly bland water soup.

My husband was recommended to have massaman by the owner but he also received a bowl of bland water soup with probably 5 tiny bits of badly cooked potato and few small bits of chicken.

We have come to Thailand many times now and love ordering local Thai foods but these two dishes were just beyond weird. What is worse is that the service staff seemed aware that we left alot of food uneaten and they did not seem to care which we found a little unusual. Price per bowl was 150 baht plus rice so definitely a rip-off for what we received.

Other than this, good spot for the sea view (although not the beach directly underneath if you're sensitive to seeing live crabs and other fish being hastily dislodged from netting, and losing their legs, tails etc. in the process before being thrown alive and half mutilated back into the sea, it's probably not the viewpoint you would like)

Again, maybe the chef was having a bad day or something as the dishes were just bizarrely bad. Perhaps they could do alot better if they focused on just three dishes and do them really well as opposed to skimping on base ingredients...

Entspannter Vibe direkt am Meer – Top Spot auf Ko Samui! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Die Reggae station auf Ko Samui ist ein echter Geheimtipp für alle, die entspannen, genießen und einfach mal runterkommen wollen. Direkter Strandzugang, chillige Atmosphäre und faire Preise – was will man mehr?

Besonders beeindruckt hat mich die Location selbst: direkt am Meer, mit Blick aufs Wasser, Sand unter den Füßen und richtig guter Stimmung. 🌊🌴☀️

Es ist ein Weed Club, aber du bekommst dort auch Snacks, Drinks und Softdrinks – alles in entspannter Umgebung. Das Gras ist völlig okay für den Preis, teilweise schon ab ca. 80 Baht pro Gramm (umgerechnet knapp 2 Euro), also mehr als fair. Die Qualität ist solide – keine Weltklasse, aber definitiv gut genug für einen entspannten Nachmittag oder Abend. 💨✌️
