Starry Seafood — Restaurant in Ko Samui

On the 14th of April 2022. We booked for 12.30pm and arrived at 12.35pm, but when we arrived the owners had an upset look at were rude to us.

They separated our table even though we had booking.

We were already to order when we arrived and kept calling then but they just walked passed to other tables to take order from other customers even though they came later and when they came back to our table they asked if we are in a hurry because they took orders for 3 other table, and we’ll have to wait for 1.30hours And just walked away.

Outrageous behavior from the boss - never again!

We had an extremely disappointing experience in this restaurant. Our food was simply forgotten, while guests who came after us had long since been served. As we had no more time, we just wanted to pay for our drinks and leave. But instead of apologizing, the boss became rude and even demanded that we pay for the food that hadn't been delivered! As if that wasn't enough, he then made racist remarks because we weren't from the country - absolutely unacceptable.

Service and tone say a lot about a restaurant, and here both were subterranean. We can only strongly advise against...

Food: delicious with very fresh ingredients, simple as that 👍👍👍. Menu is wide ranging enough to keep everyone happy.

Service: family run style service, efficient enough 😄, could be challenging when busy.

Facility: typical Thai seaside eatery, clean enough, decor is alright, no music, beach front (but nothing to write home about). Restroom is ok, also roadside parking.

Price: a little pricy but what do you expect 😄.
