LOVED IT! I was deterred from the ‘food court’ sign at first, as food courts are not usually filed with nice restaurants in the US, but the reviews were great and so we tried it. The food was INCREDIBLE! We had the garlic bread (good and straight forward), fried fish with red curry, massaman currry, an Oreo shake and a coconut shake.
The fried fish was the perfect texture of not too heavy. It wasn’t too fishy and the curry sauce (not super spicy) was a perfect match! The portion is huge, which the server warned us about, but we wanted to order two dishes so we left behind a few pieces of fish at the end.
The massaman curry was my partners choice- he ordered beef and wishes he would have ordered chicken as the beef was a little fatty. He said the flavor of the curry was excellent and not spicy (the server asked our spice level preference and the food matched our requests). We had both with white rice.
When we finished eating the staff at the ice cream/crepe stand came over and gave us mini cones to sample ice cream flavors- so kind!! This is in part while it is called a food court- they have the restaurant and then the dessert stalls. We ordered a coconut milkshake and an Oreo milkshake and the Oreo milkshake was much better than the coconut, which didn’t have very much coconut flavor or flavor in general.
We ate downstairs but there was an upstairs with pool tables I think.
I highly recommend this restaurant. I had never eaten a whole fish like that and I’m so glad I tried it. The food and service were...
Read moreDuring my recent 5-day stay in Koh Phi Phi, I had the absolute pleasure of dining daily at As Good Food Court, a gem that left an indelible mark on my Thai culinary adventure. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, the experience was nothing short of exceptional.
The location of As Good Food Court offers a serene escape, nestled in the heart of Koh Phi Phi's vibrant atmosphere.
Speaking of the food, it was, without a doubt, the best I had in Thailand. Each dish served was a delightful surprise, where culinary expertise and passion were infused in their cooking. The flavours were authentic, rich, and perfectly balanced, making each meal an unforgettable experience.
The service at As Good Food Court deserves a special mention. It was impeccable, with a family-like staff that made me feel welcome and valued. Their attentiveness and warmth added a personal touch to the dining experience, making me feel more like a guest in a home rather than a customer in a restaurant.
One of the most astonishing aspects of As Good Food Court is the affordability. As a French tourist, it's rare to find such high-quality dining at prices that are ridiculously affordable.
If you find yourself in Koh Phi Phi, a visit to As Good Food Court is a must. A big thank you to the team at As Good Food Court for making my stay in Thailand all the more special with your exceptional food and service. I will definitely come back during...
Read moreJust passed by for a coffee. I don't recommend because of the poor service and attitude.
Here my experience: I wanted an iced coffee with oat milk. I asked 3 times to do it with oat milk because I'm lactose intollerant and it happens quite often that they forget. The waiter confirmed my order. The first coffee which was prepared, however, was with milk. No problem, we noticed in time and they prepared another one with oatmilk. I had one sip and it was sweet as hell. I told the waiter to please prepare me another one but this time just what I asked: an iced coffee with oatmilk. What then followed was just a disgrace. He said they will not prepare another one, only if I paid for it. He accused me of being responsible because I didn't order without sugar. Despite the obvious nonsense of this logic, I clarified with him that it might be a misunderstanding but I also didn't order an coffee with oatmilk and with sugar (By the way it was not just a little but of sugar, it was tons, really undrinkable).
This discussion went on for a bit but they refused to give me what I ordered. Unfortunately, I paid in advance the 130 bhat, so there was not much leverage.
All in all really bad experience. Avoid if you don't want to be treated...
