We ordered a mixed cold meat and cheese platter and 2 glasses of wine. We got our wine in good time but time went on. We asked several times, several different staff members about our cold platter. We could not understand why getting some cold meat and cheese would take so long (the restaurant was also quiet, only a few other tables). After waiting 30 minutes, we asked to speak to the manager. By this point, our white wine that we wanted to enjoy with our platter was warm. We explained we had been waiting and explained about our wine. The manager offered to get us some ice cubes for our warm wine (not really acceptable) and he would check up on food. No apology. It was still another five minutes before he brought over the platter and shoved it on our table. Again no apology or anything. By this point, we did not want the platter and it was definitely not worth the over 30 minute wait. The manager came over to check as we hadn’t touched the platter and we explained this to him and that we were not happy about paying for our platter and we did not want it anymore. Still no apology, the manager told us that we should “go to 7/11” We explained we would have received better customer service and our food on time at least at 7/11. At this point the few other tables nearby who hadn’t ordered yet decided to also leave after seeing the way we were being treated. We walked out, making it clear we were not paying due to everything that had gone on. THE STAFF MEMBERS (between 3/5 male members of make staff) HELD MY BOYFRIEND AGAINST THE WALL AND DEMANDED THAT HE PAID. A female staff member behind the bar was also filming. Therefore, my boyfriend had no choice to pay but he was not happy. As he was walking away with his back turned, ONE OF THE STAFF MEMBERS RAN UP BEHIND HIM AND TRIED TO PUNCH HIM FROM BEHIND. Luckily my boyfriend heard him coming and just ducked underneath his punch. I honestly cannot believe that I am having to write such a review. I have never seen anything like it in my life. DON’T ORDER THE LASAGNE!

EDIT: in response to owners reply, I have changed my rating to 1 start after owners rude response which wasn’t surprising. We are used to eating Italian cuisine as my partners family is from Italy and know what a good authentic lasagne tastes like. We are no experts however you have not provided us any education in this response or the food that was served. good luck with future business, you will need it with an attitude like that towards customers.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: My partner and I visited this restaurant on his birthday after reading some positive reviews but were left very disappointed. It started very well with their combo cheese and meat platter. We ordered the the lasagne for main course however it was one of the worst lasagnes we have ever eaten in our lives, to the point where we both didn’t finish our mains (which is not like us) . The lasagne was very dry and bland tasting and was clearly microwaved. They pack layers of pasta sheets in order to compensate for their minimal meat, sauce and cheese. As big foodies and Italian lovers, we were left bitterly disappointed and would highly recommend not ordering this dish.

The man who took our dishes away was clearly the owner and mocked to another employee about how we did not finish our meal, however, upon reading back through his responses to bad reviews, this behaviour does now not...

Came across this place and loved the feel to the restaurant, wanted something other than Thai food. The place was busy enough as it was around dinner time. Took 15 minutes for my pizza to arrive and 25 for my partners. I didn't like the fact we were not eating together. We were also left waiting on drinks. After ordering them twice. The food was gorgeous, chefs did a great job... but unfortunately the servers let the place down. They were constantly running back and forward pass our table we couldn't even request a drink as they passed us by so quickly, and our table was wobbly so anytime they where running about the floor boards would be chiming and the table would wobble, 👊🏻👊🏻 I took a step back to observe and they all just looked like headless chickens not known where to go, to busy running around the whole restaurant rather then just taken care of certain tables. (It made my head hurt just watching)!! The servers should be assigned an area and stick to that area. We had about 5 servers One to seat us. One to take our order. Another given us drinks. Another given us food (separately) And the last one taken our bill. Disorganised. The food itself was indeed lovely. All the madness of the workers just let it down a bit. If the service was better it would be an excellent...
