Patcharee French Bakery — Restaurant in Krabi Province

I recently visited this restaurant with high hopes of having a pleasant dining experience. However, my visit was bad by the impatience and rudeness displayed by one of the staff members, specifically a lady with short hair. I feel compelled to share my experience so that others can be aware of the poor service at this place.

Firstly, when my friend and I were trying to decide what to order from the extensive menu, this particular became visibly impatient. We politely informed her that we needed a little more time to make our decision. In response, she made a facial expression, which was quite off-putting and unprofessional.

Another disappointing aspect of our visit was this staff refusal to allow us to take photos or videos of the food. This policy seemed confusing, as many restaurants nowadays encourage customers to share their experiences on social media.

To add to our disappointment, the same staff unexpectedly brought us the bill without us requesting it. This action gave us the impression that she wanted us to leave the restaurant quickly, even though we had planned to spend more time there due to the raining outside.

While I must admit that the food and prices at this restaurant were satisfactory, I cannot overlook the poor service we encountered. As someone who frequently shares positive experiences on social media, I regretfully cannot recommend this place to others due to the rude behavior displayed by the staff there. Hopefully, the management will address these issues to ensure a more welcoming and customer-centric environment...

Came here for a meal twice. First time we came was very nice. I had beef massaman but instead was given chicken thigh massaman. Whilst it didn't bother me as I eat both it could really put some people off. Decided not to say anything. Ate it and got on with it. Was nice. First time my girlfriend had a smoothie bowl which was very nice. Full of fruit and very tasty. Hence why we decided to go back again.

Second time round, went there, ordered beef massaman and got it wrong again. Out comes chicken thigh. This time I asked to change it. The lady was apologetic and changed it for me though when it came back rice was stone cold but can't have it all.

We also ordered hash brown and croffle. Croffle was to be had before and hash brown during. So meals come after mine was corrected realised had no has brown for my girlfriend. Went to the counter, asked for it 10 minutes later they arrive. By this point I had almost finished and girlfriend had already.

Croffle did not appear and in the end was not charged for it. However was charged for two hash browns which was a bit off as I ordered one and reminded about it and then had to pay and didn't even want them by that point.

Coffee was nice with good selection of non dairy milks.

Real shame as this place is busy and convenient location but think the orders need to be done correctly and someone needs to verify everything is done. Maybe more staff are needed. Not sure but something...

Do NOT go here if you are a celiac. They are very dishonest about what they offer and very publicly advertise gluten free options but when one of my friends told them she is allergic to gluten they could not accommodate her and the main manager (don’t know her name but she is incredibly rude) rolled her eyes when we kindly asked if they could make one of the dishes without gluten - as they claim to be gluten free friendly on their menus, on the front door and all over the walls. My friend is acutely allergic to gluten and she 100% consumed gluten at the restaurant because she spent the rest of the day in severe pain. I don’t think they took her allergy seriously and this is just unacceptable.

They also claim to have vegan options - which they do - but my partner ordered a vegan breakfast and not only did they put butter on the plate (and spread it on his bread) but they charged him for his plant based milk, even though the menu says that it should be included in the spread.

Truly disappointing service and, as someone who has worked in the service industry, I don’t think there is ever an excuse to treat someone how they treated us.

The menu is also incredibly overwhelming and messy and cutting it down is something that could help the waiters in executing their service better. Half of them did not know what we were ordering or what they...
