The food was a symphony of flavors, but the service hit a few sour notes. Upon arrival, we weren’t greeted, our table seemed just as surprised as we were to have company. After clearing it ourselves, we waited ten minutes for a menu that never materialized, eventually fetching one from the bar ourselves.
Our order was taken, but then the food played arrived in random waves. The rice turned up well before its meat companions and ended up cold and lonely.
My partner, who doesn’t vibe with onions, specifically requested none in the main dish but forgot to mention it for the rice. Totally our bad. We ordered a replacement, and then… we waited. Twenty minutes passed before I once again approached the bar for answers. Turns out, the message about the onion-free rice got lost in translation, or perhaps just lost altogether.
By the time the rice did arrive, the main had turned cold. Despite all the chaos, the food itself was great, so much so that we might have forgiven the missteps if we didn’t feel like an afterthought. All in all, it was a meal that fed the stomach but...

We ordered the Shrimp Tempura, Massaman Curry with shrimp, Pad Thai with shrimp, and stir fried morning glory in a rich soy/oyster based sauce. All of the were generous in portions. The seafood was fresh and the prawns were jumbo sized. The noodles and greens were fresh and crisp. All of the sauces well balanced and the Massaman curry was excellent and not to sweet!
