Old Town Seafood — Restaurant in Krabi Province

Stumbled upon this restaurant when I came to Koh Lanta’s Old town, it was late about 7pm and they were about to close. They accepted our orders and was cooking a storm in their kitchen. The dishes was tasty, flavourful you know it was a family restaurant and cooking was from the heart. The kind of food your mom would cook for every family dinner! I highly recommend them if you’re looking for good halal food in Koh Lanta Old town and best part it’s inexpensive!!!...

We ordered fried lobster with black pepper, and 2 x steamed crabs. The food was okay - We were expecting more from such an expensive place, especially one with such good access to seafood. We were here in low-season so perhaps this is a reason. We spent roughly 3000 Thai baht on 2 courses. The food also took the best part of 2 hours. Absolutely stunning...

The Massaman curry feature uncooked potatoes, while tasting okay. Ordered a fresh coconut that tasted like it was going bad, so sad because I really wanted to drink it.
