Royal Clay Oven — Restaurant in Krabi Province

The first dissapointing food experience in Thailand. I ordered the fried squid with garlic and pepper off the menu, which had a picture showing a whole cooked squid. What I actually ended up getting where 10 deep fried squid rings, which was both a super small portion and not at all what I was expecting to get. When I voiced this to the staff, they said this was what you got, which was very strange, as the food photo clearly showed a completely different dish. Would not recommend this place, I left dissapointed and...

Ok so I'm updating as this time 6 months on the food is much improved and can say it was one of the tastiest dinners in a while, Only gripe is staff smoking behind the front counter is not acceptable

Almost 4 stars. Could be more authentic with more flavors of India... Do not need to do Thai dishes as well as this distracts from it being an Indian Restaurant. Curry dishes are a little much like a soup, Needs more texture like rough chopped onion etc and to be able to see things like fresh coriander...

Another wonderful Indian meal in Krabi! Absolutely fantastic food and hospitality at our meal tonight - fresh and authentic Indian food, with each dish being really delicious. We ordered the chicken biriyani, garlic and paneer naans, Dahl makhani and chana masala. All were fantastic, the chana masala being the best I have ever tried.

Dessert of mango sticky rice was absolutely perfect too, slightly al dente rice made this so tasty.
