This one is a must visit if you are an Indian or love india food. It was the closest restaurant to our hotel (Dusit thani) and we just went in because this one had AC sitting. We did not know at that time that we will fell in love with the place and super friendly staff. This turned out to be goto place for the next 2 days. It's a family run place and the love shows in the food that they serve. In veg options (over 2dyas) we tried, veg manchurian, panner butter masala, paneer tikka masala, thai curry, pineapple cashew rice, dal makhni, chana masala. My favourite was paneer tikka masala and thai curry. Dal makhni was averag-ish out of all the items. My parents liked chana masala but I am not fond of them in general. In non-veg we tried, chicken tikka masala, fried shrimp, sweet and sour chicken, chicken cashew nut. All the non-veg options were amazing. In deserts the chef recommended Mango-sticky rice with coconut milk. This was slight warm and we all loved it a lot! Really glad we...
Read moreTHE BEST IN THAILAND! I am living in Thailand for the last 5 years and coming to Thailand for the last 13 years and I can tell you this restaurant is just amazing- quality of food the best. We always stayed in Ao Nang and this is the first time we stayed in Dust Thani with our parents. When it comes to Indian parents they always want Indian food. Day-1, we went back to Ao Nang as I drove from Bangkok to Phuket and then came to Krabi. As always I went to the indian restaurants in Ao Nang and they didn't like much. Day-2, we decided to try with this restaurant and that's all. They never stopped appreciating their food. The lady was extremely kind, the chef is a fantastic guy. It's a family run business and their hospitality to describe is less of words. I would rate them THE BEST IN THAILAND and not only in Krabi after having food in all the best restaurants in across Thailand.
I would recommend to go there if you are even staying in Ao Nang and you will find the...
Read moreAt first, it looked good; we were greeted with a smile. We sat down, but the first three drinks we wanted from the menu weren't there. Things didn't get any better after that. The first dish was so full of garlic that I couldn't taste anything else. The curry was overpowering with coriander. The staff were loudly watching videos and playing games on their phones. They also smelled of sweat... all in all, not a good experience. On a positive note, we did get some ice cream on the house. Someone was probably still paying attention and noticed we weren't enjoying it. As I type this, I've been on the toilet for three hours... not recommended!!
(4 hours later now since I wrote the first part and my girlfriend is...
