Just wanted to share my experience at this awesome restaurant, Bubbles at Grand Mercure Patong. Our server, Khun Nut, was absolutely amazing! She was knowledgeable about the food offered and gave us great recommendations.
What's really cool is that they have special events on different nights - definitely something to check out if you're in the area.
The Seabass was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. The Ribeye steak was a bit too firm for my taste, but that's probably because I requested it to be medium-grilled. Next time, I'll go for medium rare to get a more tender meat.
We were really looking forward to the sticky rice dessert paired with sweet mango, but unfortunately, the mango was a little sour. We mentioned it to our server, who was super apologetic and even removed it from our bill! Talk about responsible restaurant practices.
The pumpkin and crab soup was another highlight of the meal - so yummy! Honestly, I wish we had discovered this place earlier in our trip. So, we decided to have our last night dinner here before...
Read moreThe food can’t get any worse.we ordered Thai dishes from the ala Carte menu and it was disastrous. The Tom yam was slightly warm broth full of curdled milk flakes, the taste was terrible and the quantity for the price was on a small side. The meat in the Massaman curry was chewy and potatoes undercooked as well. But the worst part was so called satay chicken, chewy, lacking of any flavour pieces of cold chicken. The waiter took the tom yam and satay back to the kitchen to reheat and brought back the same inedible food. The best dish so far was a bottle of still water which I was charged 130 BHT for. I was couple of times in that restaurant before for the seafood buffet and other stuff but will never be back there again until they bring someone who can cook. As a Gold member of the Accor group I really ashamed to admit that they can have that kind of food in their hotel , just...
Read moreNice food, freshly cooked, slightly on the pricey side otherwise good especially if you enjoy sea food.portions on the small side, not enough to fill you properly especially if your self isolating in your room. Improvement needed - more variety is needed, portion size needs to improve as well as price especially as there are many local restaurants providing really good food for half of the price- cheapest meal is around £10 in uk money not including anything else.
Had the new year buffet - just under £60 per person ( rather pricy for a family of 4), good selection of seafood, great if you enjoy sea food but not great if you don’t,let down by not having access to unlimited water, option of one drink, alcoholic ot soft drink or limited to one small...
