Overall ambience is nice and therapist is skillful. Price is affordable. However, the post booking experience and receptionist spoilt the entire treatment. After booking, I emailed the spa requesting for separate rooms as we have 4 pax. There was no reply despite 2 follow up emails sent and attempt to contact them via the chat function on website. I had to get my friend in BKK to call the spa directly before we get a verbal confirmation.
Upon check in, we were assigned twin rooms until I went to receptionist to inform we had verbal confirmation for single rooms. We were then quickly sent to do foot bath before proceeding to treatment room. I booked for Aroma Massage but was never give any option to select the oil.
When treatment was already in process for 10min, I was disturbed by somebody knocking on the door. Apparently the receptionist came and informed she undercharged me and I should be paying the difference. Imagine going to a spa and beginning to get relaxed, only to get your mood spoilt as your session was interrupted over a mistake by the receptionist. They wanted to charge me the Aroma price when I didn't even get to select my oil, not to mention also unsure what oil was used. I disputed the charges because I'm not paying for something that was not fulfilled entirely. The receptionist then asked if I wanted to choose oil now so she can get confirmation that I'll pay the shortfall. Tbh, my mood was already completely ruined.
After the treatment ended, another receptionist came to ask me to pay the balance after I've only had 2 sips of the post treatment beverage. Seems like all they cared was about the money rather than customers' experience. When I explained im not going to pay the full shortfall given that im not getting what I signed up for, the receptionist even gave excuse saying they may have forgotten to ask me to choose the oil as there's many guests. What a irresponsible way to shirk responsibility. It's not the first day they operate a spa and its not fair that the customer's experience is affected because of your poor management and mistake from your staff.
Therapist is great but other than that, it's going 1 of the worst...

Read moreI have had many many hours of massage in Patong but had never been to De Flora, so thought I’d give them a try today. I visited about midday and asked for 1hr foot massage for 500 baht and 1hr aromatherapy oil massage for 900 baht. Both are more expensive than I have paid previously, but I don’t mind paying extra if the quality and service is there. Unfortunately I don’t feel the extra money was warranted. I filled in the paperwork when I arrived, with the areas I’d like worked on. I sat there for bit while I waited for my therapist. I was then given a cold towel and a glass of water, but 30 seconds later my therapist appeared so I didn’t get to enjoy either of those items. They give you a locker to put your shoes and bag in and give you a pair of shoes to wear. At no point was I consulted about what aromatherapy oil id like for my massage. We get to the room, there was no direction on what to do, no disposable underwear. The pressure was very inconsistent. It was way too soft on my back and way too hard on my legs. The therapist put balm on my back then a thick oil that didn’t feel very nice. About 20 mins in I was ready for it to be over. When you pay extra for aromatherapy, you should be consulted prior to them oiling you up. The foot massage was good, the foot massage area is peaceful and dark. Would I come back? Probably not. I prefer Kim’s Massage or Moontree Elemental Spa for...
