Prechaya BBQ Buffet — Restaurant in Patong

One of the best Thaï BBQ in all Thailand.

The food is awesome. Over a dozen choice of sauces, great thai dessert and oh so well seasoned meat. The seasame pork in particular was the tastier that I ever tasted in these shops. They also have a BBQ where staff will cook to order shrimps, whole crabs, clams, ribs and more!!! Then you can make your own salads, including the well knowned som tam. They also offer some fried food but I didn't taste any.

Staff is very attentive though the place was far from full. Price is 259-299.

The location is off the busy streets of Patong in a remote and cozy neiborhood. It also has a small river just behind it which makes a great setting with the relaxed Thai music they play.

My experience at Prechaya BBQ buffet was extremely disappointing. They advertised fish and prawns on their menu, but when I arrived, they were all out. The staff shrugged it off, offering no solution.

Even worse, when I brought this up to the owner, they initially promised a discount but then charged the full amount on the bill. The owner's dishonesty and lack of respect for customers left a sour taste.

I advise against dining at Prechaya BBQ buffet. Their false promises and poor customer service show they care more about profit than customer...

I saw the recommendation on the Internet, but the shrimps and crabs died!

Two people ate more than 900 baht. Isn't it good to eat Thai food in the town or go to the seafood market to eat fresh seafood at this price?
