Amporn Seafood Buffet — Restaurant in Pattaya City

We visited this no-time-limit buffet restaurant as a group of six at 8:55 PM. Although they claimed to close at 11 PM, the experience was extremely disappointing.

When we arrived, there were only four occupied tables, including ours. By 10 PM, we were the only customers left. The food options were very limited, and once an item ran out, it was not replenished. Despite this, the staff showed no effort to provide a proper dining experience.

From 10 PM onward, the waitstaff made it obvious they wanted to close. They stood impatiently with folded arms, moved chairs and dishes loudly, and cleaned the restaurant in an unprofessional manner while we were still eating. We didn’t even request for our plates to be cleared, but they took them anyway.

One of my friends accidentally left his phone on a chair, and instead of politely informing us, a waiter shouted, “Hey! Your phone,” in a rude tone. To make matters worse, they started turning off the lights while we were still there.

The food quality was unacceptable for the price we paid. By the end, there were only four shrimp and one crab left, and the staff made no effort to bring out more. Their attitude was careless, and they clearly didn’t care about customer service or fulfilling basic requests.

This was by far the worst buffet experience we’ve ever had. Poor food options, terrible customer service, and an overall hostile environment. I would not recommend this...

Why I gave 5 stars? It's for comparison in the mookata food industry. By the way, mookata was never my food to eat in Thailand. Price is on the high side for mookata. However there was a great variety of . meat - chicken, pork marinated differently, from spicy to Korean kimchee sauce. . There was a fridge for beef . Seafood - have live prawn and variety of shell fish, oyster in shell, scallops, cockles and the likes . Fish - catch of the sea, cuttle fish squid, prawn, crabs . Have fry food stations . Somtam . Salad, Thai lab . Dessert - the best coconut ice cream ....... and the food list was great. See photos. Just note that the quantity was well controlled in small portion but never empty.

Beer and coconut drinks were rightfully not on the buffet spread.

Soft drinks were available, free flow of coke.

Spacious, didn't make one feel cramp as in some other joints

Toilet must have special mention. THIS IS THE CLEANEST TOILET OF ALL MOOKATA JOJNTS PUT TOGETHER

Be warned: the place is a mad house full of hundreds of customers from tour groups. I was there on Tu. 3/19 from 5:15 to 7:00, and tour group members out numbered independent customers 10 to 1. The crabs and shrimps were big, but I could not get to them due to a hundred other customers going in any other direction.

The waiters and waitresses could not keep up. I went to the restroom to wash my hands, when I came back, the waiter was already packing up my table. I didn't see any third world behavior from the tour group members, but just hundreds of them deciding what to choose from the big selection is enough to cause a chaos. I pay a single customer price of 599b. It was my worst buffer...
