If you’re talking about taste, the food here isn’t bad at all. It’s not the best but it isn’t terrible either. So it is a buffet but they do charge you for food you don’t finish, it’s only 50 baht for every few ounces or 100 grams of food. So this place is m like an all you can eat hot pot/ Korean barbecue restaurant. They bring hot coal to the table and you go out to the stations to grab veggies, meats and other things to your liking. They have food that’s already prepared like fried chicken, spaghetti, chicken nuggets, something that looks like a corn dog and a bunch of other things. If you’re talking about cleanliness this place would get a F+ from the health department back in the states. I had accidentally dropped a chunk of tofu on the floor and I had picked it up and set on a dirty plate to be tossed out. The person who worked there told me to put it in the broth even though it’s covered in dirt from the floor and the blood from the raw meat on the plate I had set it in. Employees were cracking crabs for other patrons with their bare hands, handling food without washing them afterwards and pushing the trash in the bins down with their bare hands still without washing them. I don’t have much expectations for food vendors out on the streets but at a physical restaurant I expect it to be held to a bit of a higher standard in regard to food safety. As a restaurant owner back in the states I take food safety very seriously, my folks even owned a big chain restaurant for 20+ years and the food safety bars for those are even higher than local health department standards. So I think I have a very good knowledge on food safety but I do understand the risks I take eating anywhere here in Thailand. So I do try to keep an open mind and understand the standards here are different. But after eating here, I just can’t recommend my fellow travelers to come eat here knowing the risk is even higher after the way I see the people working here handle the food. If they touched raw fish and handled ice for the drinks for patrons that’s already a big no-no for me. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this...
Read moreFood okay but it’s a dirty place and busy. You need to push almost to get food. If you want to eat a lot for cheap it’s good but if you want quality then stay away. Also the workers are trained by the owner to say not to be able to sit at 2 tables that are not even connected for the reason of me and my girlfriend didn’t want to eat the 400baht menu each as I wanted meat only so it would be 199bahts . But still wants to charge 400 bahts instead of 199 for meat only. So everyone has to pay extra each 400. They wanted us to sit at 2 tables far away when there were many side by side. After arguing with the owner they allowed us as it is ridiculous not to be. As if we walked in alone we could sit where we please. Just a way to hustle a couple to eat both for 400 bahts. Wouldn’t come again. And the workers here are all thought wrong. Greedy place wouldn’t come back and I don’t even like the food. They don’t even clean your tables shells etc till you done...
Read moreTerrible place to have dinner. Too crowded, rude and impolite staff, dirty, noisy, stale seafoods, low quality of meats, and even the taste sucks either. The inside of the restaurant is a little dark that it's not easy but If you look over the each tables, the dish and the BBQ grills carefully, you will lose your appetite and not want to eat anymore on there. This restaurant is the place preferred by Chinese group tourists in Pattaya that you should face with huge amount of Chinese. Because of this reason, you should join competition against a lot of Chinese to bring foods to your table and the foods tray which contain popular things go empty often by them. If you are kinda person who like to struggle always with crowded people, I dare recommend this restaurant for you. But if you are the person who want to have satisfactory dinner with friends, lover or family, NEVER...
