Billabong Bar in Pattaya is known as a happening spot that attracts both tourists and locals with its lively atmosphere and central location. On the surface, the bar offers a vibrant scene with loud music, flashing lights, and a bustling crowd. The dance floor is always packed, and the energy is high, making it seem like the perfect place for a night out in Pattaya.
However, beneath the surface excitement, there are several issues that tarnish the experience. One of the most significant drawbacks is the pricing. Many customers have reported feeling scammed due to inflated prices that do not match the quality of the drinks or food served. It’s not uncommon to be charged exorbitant rates for basic drinks, and there are often hidden fees that catch patrons off guard. This sense of overcharging leaves a bitter taste and can quickly turn a fun night sour.
Moreover, the service at Billabong Bar leaves much to be desired. The staff can be quite rude and unwelcoming, especially if you question the bill or express concerns about the pricing. The aggressive attitude of some of the employees makes the environment feel hostile rather than hospitable, which detracts significantly from the overall experience.
While Billabong Bar might seem like an exciting place to visit in Pattaya, the combination of overpricing and rude service makes it a less-than-ideal choice. It’s worth considering other options where you can enjoy a good time without the worry of being overcharged...

Ordered a drink, got a bill that looked like it had been written by a magician, things appeared on it that I definitely didn’t order. When I pointed it out, instead of fixing it, the staff acted like I was auditioning for a street fight. One lady swore at me like I’d just kicked her karaoke machine. At one point there were so many staff hovering around me I thought they were about to start a conga line. Sadly, no music, just insults. Highlight of the night? Realizing I could have had the exact same experience at home: warm beer, loud yelling, and people taking my money. Would’ve saved the taxi fare. Pro tip: if you go, bring a calculator, a referee, and...
Read moreThe place is nice, but it's too loud to talk. The band may be fun, but: They are way too loud. They obviously don't know what they are singing. The drummer just knows two different rhythms. They play the same songs in the same order twice every evening. Do it's no place to stay for a while. And no place to come back again. Unfortunately the band is to be heard in all other places around, means corner of LK-Metro. I feel kinda pity for all staffs there...
