JUST BURGERS — Restaurant in Pattaya City

This place was promising, it all looked good on paper, but it was a big disappointment. All the right pieces are there, the grill, the toppings, even the atmosphere is very relaxed. The problem is with the frankly disgusting patties being used. It's all about the burgers, right? Everything we had (from the photo) looked great and was made with care, ingredients seemed fresh and the buns were tender and not overly filled with grease. The problem here is with the actual "beef" patty, as they're proudly advertised. Firstly, they're from frozen and were thrown on a grill that way. Secondly, this is NOT BEEF. Rather, some kind of "blend" of things we could not identify. It is truly one of the strangest meat-like products I've ever had. As a burger aficionado, I've had burgers all over the world. The Jollybee burgers in the Philippines still take top spot for worst burgers on the planet but whatever this place serves is a close second. Despite the overwhelmingly positive reviews, whatever we had was not what everyone else seems to be eating. We took one bite and both grimaced, everything about it was... funky. It's not a meat product I can identify and that is very, very troublesome. 500baht for two burgers we had one bite of - and regret immensely. The both went into the trash. Everything about this was off, the smell, the color, certainly the taste, the texture. Disgusting and frightening.

Whatever this is, it is NOT beef and should be avoided.

Two sides of onion rings also into the trash. Bland, with an odd, powder aftertaste. Fake rings from China? Who knows....

Wow there are a couple of very sour individuals writing posts here and not surprised as so many bitter expats around Pattaya which is why we left there for a farm life here in Thailand 20 years ago. The food here the young man is selling with his family is great. They do their best during some very trying times and try to accommodate all when really are not supposed to be sitting anyone. Took a visiting brother for lunch and he loved everything he ordered. Wife and kids enjoy their mix of Thai and Western grub and always look forward to the trip in. Nice people, good variety and we think a lot of care in what they serve. Keep up the good work and always a pleasure to visit. Let the sours stay away, plenty then for the rest of us. Prices good, location good, nice view of beach at front, but they must put onion powder or Worcestershire in the burgers, had a aftertaste... I am Bummed... Burger was underwhelming 😢 Place is always busy always smells good. i would give another try...

Too bad a loud guy was at the bar doing bong loads, was not enjoying the smell ... Sadly service was slow, but they were busy, but still felt it could of been better service. Fries were really good!! Cooked really nice and well 😋 crunchy... Yummy.... Mayo left out at room temp (sorry needs to be in fridge) No...
