You'll know you're there when you see the live giant lobsters in the glass display. You can opt to sit on the walking street side or the sea side. Aside from the giant lobsters on display, you can choose from a wide variety of seafood and some veggies as a side. Just specify how you like them to be cooked, and you'll be amazed by the taste. Next step would be to choose the wine and guess what, this place offers a wide selection of wines, and they are all stored in an air conditioned wine cellar. Just enter the cellar, and while cooling down a bit loose yourself in the wines of the world. Read moreI came to this restaurant in the 80's as a little kid. It had rickety wooden floors over the sea, in different sections as the restaurant expanded over time. Sadly the rickety wooden floors is no more, and the floor is solidly concrete, but still set over the sea. Happily the seafood is still excellent and very fresh. Actually we had some Italian food that was too sweet, but I guess most people wouldn't come here for pasta.
Also maybe avoiding driving, the traffic is bad, parking hard to find and quite expensive. You'll have to drive down the seedy "walking street" and go somewhere else to park. Read more2 stars only because of ambiance being seaside. We ordered drinks before food. 1.5 dishes came first (out of 4). Then half my dish (the rice) came 10 minutes after my 'fish'. I orderedvthe 'fish' (unknown species), because Ibdont eat squid and octopus. My 'fish' had squid tentacles in it. Then the other 2 dishes came 15 minutes after 1st 1.5 dishes. The cold salad came last for some odd reason. 1 drink came halfway throu dinner. 2 more drinks came aftee dinner, then the final drink came aftee our repeated glances.
