Decent hotel but if I’m honest , staff are not very warm and welcoming. It feels like you are constantly being watched from the moment you walk in to the lift to the room and even when you get out of lift there is a housekeeping hiding around the corridor who will ask for a tip. Tips are no issue if you your job is done properly but I had cobwebs in my room for my stay. Girls I had met and had called to my room for 2 were made to feel like freelancers. And then the usual in Thailand ,reception keeping my passport in case their precious room gets destroyed so on top of being watched you feel like you aren’t trusted. Windows open 6 inches only and no balconies in the room. Breakfast is just 2 eggs for vegetarians but if you eat meat you can have eggs sausages and ham.Not really fair but anyway that reflects how the hotel thinks. Suggestion would be give a cheese omelette to vegetarians and they will be happy.I would suggest putting on light music in the lobby and breakfast room as it eerily quiet adding to the feeling of constantly being watched and cold atmosphere everywhere. I checked out and moved to Siam View hotel and the check in was quick informative warm and amazing. My room here is double the size with a balcony and Ac that gives cold air.My check in at VC was mostly about money and I wasn’t informed where breakfast was or where the pool was etc . I’m a hotel Manager in London with 200+ staff and I don’t like writing these things but I also feel strongly when I see no hospitality in a hospitality venue. My suggestion to the staff would be that try and remember , without customers your hotel will not last so it’s probably best to treat guests with respect and appreciation. My whole stay I felt like they were doing me a favour , anyway I wish them...
Read moreIt is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The upscale treatment of the staff in addition to the services available in the hotel, from the cleanliness of the place, the cleanliness of the family, the kindness of the staff, everything that works in the hotel, and what distinguishes the hotel is that in the center, all services are close to it. Some of the actions are not mentioned in comparison to the privileges of the hotel, but for example, a reservation was made. A room for 1,400 baht per night in cash. Then I entered the trip.com app and booked two additional nights and paid the full amount. Then, before the end of the stay in the hotel, I was surprised that a gentleman who was told or appeared to be a manager or Supervisor who wears glasses and has poor vision told me that you have to pay an additional amount. The amount that was paid through the application was 200 baht. I was surprised why I was being forced to pay an additional amount, and I was unable to reach an understanding with the person. Finally, I explained to her that there was no problem with the amount, but the problem was in the treatment and manner. He justified that the amount that was taken was under the pretext of not informing the hotel two days before. Or a day before that, I wanted an extension, and I already told him the reception and they told me that it is okay. You will sit in the same room and you do not need to change, but the master ordered me that I did not come to the hotel to the reception and did not report the information that the room had been renovated. Greetings to the entire staff of the hotel except the master. Thank...
Read moreThe hotel is very central — it was conveniently easy to find. The large lobby on the second floor has a modern aesthetic. Additionally, the room size was decent, and the cleanliness was impeccable, which contributed positively to my overall comfort.
However, there were several aspects of my stay that I found disappointing. The quality of the room furniture felt cheap, and the small window in my room faced a wall, limiting the natural light and view. I was also surprised by the poor room amenities; for example, there were no tea bags or coffee sachets available. Furthermore, the absence of an in-room iron made it inconvenient, especially when they push me to use their laundry press service.
Another concern was the room access system, which utilized a mechanical key with a bulky ring, making it cumbersome to carry in my pocket.
The most frustrating experience was with the front office staff. Upon my arrival, I was required to pay a 2000 baht security deposit in cash, a detail that was not mentioned in my booking confirmation. Unfortunately, I was only carrying US dollars, and when I offered to pay in that currency, the receptionist flatly refused and told me I could cancel my booking and leave if I didn’t give the cash in baht currency. After some back and forth, a lady manager intervened and eventually accepted my payment in dollars, which I appreciated, but this initial interaction left a...
