The Pratumnak mountain view is located on the hill opposite the Big Buddha hill with an amazing view to Pattaya city, the Pattaya beach and Bali Hai pier. Under all weather conditions it’s beautiful here! I enjoy it as much as possible! Next to the view point is the nice scenic restaurant COFFEE BREAK with a beautiful terrace and beautiful breathtaking view. Here you can relax by a good coffee, tea, cacao and a lot of other beverages and food or ice creme… Everything to reasonable prices! And the staff is very lovely friendly!🙏🙏🙏 There is also a beautiful navy monument with a great view to Pattaya in the other direction as on the hill viewpoint in about 100m distance. Abhakara Kiartivongse monument, Bronze statue of Admiral of the Royal Thai Navy Abhakara Kiartivongse - Prince of Chumphon, mounted on a stone pedestal on the high natural Pratumnak hill in Pattaya, 98 meters above sea level. On the other side of the Pratumnak view point is a small lovely buddhist temple. Thai people like this temple and many come to make their prayers! This is a place you have to see if you are in Pattaya! You never will forget this impressive and well managed area by the Thai Navy! My recommendation! 🙏😊🙏 In this area is also a lovely little buddhist temple. Thai people like to make prayers there! Have a...
Read morePattaya Viewpoint (Khao Pattaya View Point) on Pratumnak Hill is the best viewpoint in the region and the place to visit day or night to get that classic shot of Pattaya’s sweeping, crescent bay. Be warned though, this is anything but an insider’s tip so expect to share your view with an almost ceaseless conveyor-belt of package tours and the local traders who follow them touting cheap souvenirs and expensive refreshments. This might sound off-putting but the reality is tours will usually stop for 10 to 15 minutes and once they have been called back to the bus, the view point becomes quiet and peaceful – perfect for enjoying the stunning scenery. The esplanade is long and wide enough to accommodate large numbers so there is no waiting around to find a position against the railings for a picture-postcard backdrop. The main view looks north and has uninterrupted views of Pattaya Bay right up to the headland separating Pattaya beach from Naklua beach. Any time day or night, this hillside viewpoint offers panoramic views of Pattaya and Jomtien but it is best visited in late afternoon or early evening when the changing lights enhance this already amazing sight, and best of all, it’s...
