Hi there,
I had a meal at your restaurant recently and wanted to share some feedback. I ordered seafood and asked for some wasabi to go with it — pretty normal, right?
But after the meal, your staff told me that wasabi costs 60 baht. That really surprised me because: • There was no mention of the extra charge on the menu • Nobody told me upfront that it would cost money • At most seafood restaurants, wasabi is a basic condiment and usually free
It felt unfair to only find out after I ordered. If you charge for condiments like wasabi, I think it should be clearly shown on the menu, or at least mentioned before serving.
I hope you can look into this and make it more transparent for future customers. I’m not upset — just hope the next person doesn’t get confused the way I did.
📌 Legal Note (for business transparency): According to Thailand’s Consumer Protection Act B.E. 2522, Section 25,
“Before selling goods or providing services, the business operator must clearly display the price, quantity, service fee, and related conditions in an appropriate and visible manner for consumers.”
Failure to do so may result in the consumer being misled, which entitles the consumer to file a complaint or request compensation.
In other words, it’s not about whether the business can charge for condiments — it’s about whether that charge is clearly shown upfront, so customers can make...
Read moreDear Management,
I am writing to express my disappointment with the service we received during our visit to your restaurant.
We arrived around 4 PM when the restaurant was approximately 95% empty. We kindly requested to sit near the front to enjoy the view while dining but were informed by the host that those seats were fully reserved. We had no issue with this and proceeded to sit elsewhere while reviewing the menu. However, after waiting for 15 minutes without being greeted or attended to, we noticed two Thai customers arriving and being allowed to choose their seats at the swings by the ocean—despite us being told all front seats were occupied. As a Thai customer myself, I overheard their conversation, which confirmed our suspicion that we were misled.
Seeing this discrepancy, we decided to leave rather than continue with our meal. While we were looking forward to enjoying the food and ambiance, the lack of honesty and service made for an unwelcoming experience. I have attached photos and videos showing the availability of the seating in question.
PS. 5 min walked to the glass house and was treated better with a seats right next to the oceanfront.
In summary: • Menu: Great selection • View: Beautiful • Service: Disappointing
I hope this feedback helps improve future customer experiences. I appreciate your time in reviewing...
Read moreThe restaurant well situated on beach but....
At first. The reservation made more then month before the dinner. It supposed to be the family diner with view on the sunset. We were seated under the loud speaker (no possibilty to make a conversation), and unfortunetly not on the beach (as I was expecting when making the reservation) but near the bar. When I asked about the tables on the beach, front to the sea i heard that all are reserved :( (well... i made reservation too... and on the list it was the first, but this was not enough for them). We changed the table to a one in other part of the restaurant, but I felt like a client with no reservation made.
Second The food. Wide menu. Overall I thing strong 3 stars. Great drinks, smothies etc. Really good fish, french fries and fride rice with pork. Pizza and spaghetti acceptable. Fried see food in thick tempura, for me too thick. Fried rice in pinaple barely eatable.
Third The service apart from the reservation team was good. Maybe not serving with smile, rather like for the punishment, but fast and professional.
Overall, if the reservation team was more flexible to resolve tha table problem it would be more stars for the restaurant. But there wasnt any will to help or any person to talk with.
Next time I will chose other restaurant to have family dinner with...
