I was guided by a local Thai here for a late night supper, which I am very thankful for.
This restaurant is within a walkable distance from BTS Sanam Pao. There are seats both inside the restaurant and outside on the sidewalk. If you sit inside it gets really humid and hot so best if you could have a fan aimed at you. If you sit outside you'll be exposed to the loud noise and pollution of the traffic so pick your poison.
Had seafood tom yum soup, prawns with garlic and chili, kang kong and scallops with butter and garlic. They were all so frickin good.
A little on the pricier side for restaurants in Bangkok, paid around 890 baht for 2 people. But we definitely ate like a king and it's seafood so, I guess the price is justified?
Eternally grateful to this place for me to fill my tummy late at night....
Read moreTourist trap, avoid this restaurant if you are a tourist. Got ripped off by the owner , a Thai Chinese lady for the food the 3 of us had. The portions were very small ( smaller than Thai standards) , the taste was nothing special and the price was astronomical. We had to fork out 3,850 Thai baht for a meal. The most expensive item was a prawn for 1,000 Thai Baht.
For a street stall , this is highway robbery . Please be aware of this road side stall and it is only fair that I share this experience. Buyers be warned.
Had similar dishes in T&K (green uniform) in China town and it only cost less that half of the 3,850 (around 1,500), including 2 fish bladder soups.

Read moreStreet food style seafood, with wonderfully fresh ingredients. They have ice boxes filled with prawns of varying sizes, which are the star of the show here. You can order these grilled, with prices varying by weight, size, and quantity of the ingredient. The owner gave me a good deal since I ordered several. I also had the steamed fish with with lime, chili, and garlic (pla neung manao), which arrived on a metal plate heated by coals, really soft and tender. It even came with a light fish broth on the side. Beer is the only alcohol served. Kitchen is open so you can even see them prepare it. Spacious and...
