I'm thrilled to share our incredible experience at the husky cafe in Bangkok! My wife had been dreaming of visiting this place for a long time, and today we finally made it happen. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the professionalism, skill, and courtesy of every single staff member. They truly went above and beyond to ensure we had an unforgettable experience.
Before entering the cafe, we were asked to wash our hands thoroughly to maintain the cleanliness and safety of the environment. This attention to detail put us at ease and showed that the staff prioritized the well-being of both customers and dogs.
The admission fee was 350 THB per person, which was reasonable considering the unique experience we were about to have. However, we did opt to pay an additional 500 THB for a group photo with all the beautiful huskies. It was definitely worth it, as the photos turned out amazing!
As part of the package, we got to spend an hour with the dogs, which was plenty of time to play, cuddle, and take plenty of photos. We also received a water bottle and a drink of our choice from a limited selection. If we wanted to upgrade to a different drink, that would have cost an extra 60 THB. There is a menu available that you can order food from.
One of the things that impressed us was the attention to hygiene. We were provided with foot covers made from PPE material to prevent any bacteria or germs from entering the area where we'd be interacting with the dogs. This level of care and consideration for the dogs' health and safety was truly commendable.
Once we entered the cafe, we were surrounded by friendly staff members who were always available to assist us. We didn't need to purchase any extra food to feed the dogs, as the staff would occasionally offer us snacks to give to the huskies. They even offered to take photos of us with the dogs, which was a lovely touch.
The experience was truly unforgettable, and I'd highly recommend this cafe to anyone who loves dogs, especially huskies! The staff's dedication to providing a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for both customers and dogs is commendable. We'll definitely be back soon to experience the...
Read moreVery fun overall.
The dogs: The dogs were very chill and weren't misbehaving at all. They go at their own pace and do their own things. There is quite a number of them allowed to roam and interact with you while a couple of them are in the photo op behind gates. There are rules to interacting with the dogs such as to not let them lick your hand, carry them, etc. It is shown in a video in the cafe portion 5 minutes before interaction time starts.
The cafe: Very clean, at least, the air conditioned part is. You can choose whether to sit indoors with AC or outdoors without AC but with the view of the dogs. You can't see the dogs if you're seating closer towards the road. They do have fans on the floor outdoors but since it was around 35°c when we went, opted for indoors as you'll already be spending a majority of the interaction time in the heat. Drinks were simple, you can get food too if you're early, not sure how it tastes as I didn't get it.
Price + What you get: If you look at their Facebook page they have a promotion of 350 baht per person as of writing this. You have to have liked their Facebook page or followed their Instagram page or you'll have to pay 500 baht. It's worth liking the page. For 350 baht you get; plastic feet covers(yes they're feet covers not shoe covers, you'll need to take off shoes and go barefoot or with socks), 2 free drinks of any kind from the drink menu and 2 bottles of water. The drinks come in a pretty small cup, think a tall sized drink from Starbucks. The water bottles are even smaller. You do get the free photo op with the sectioned off huskies I mention earlier. They do ask you to make an arm flexing pose so that the huskies can climb on your arm and they're pretty heavy too so be careful.
Overall rating: 5/5, would always plan to come here when visiting Thailand.
Do note that the temperature of the day is very important as you'll be spending the 1 hour of interaction time outdoors. There's fans that blast you with wind but with heat this hot it feels like hot air. Photo op is also called by number, you'll be given one when...
Read moreSo , before coming to that place I was reading reviews of that cafe . And then I saw honest and fresh review, under my review from a guy name Daniel Rey. Not gonna lie , his review freaked me out, and I was already on the way to see huskies!! So I was sitting in the cab and thinking “this place must be really tourist trap” “they will be so mean to me since I’m tourist” “what if I have to use bathroom , and they won’t let me in” lol And I’m like “ok , let’s find out”
So , I arrived . Some nice and lovely girl was at the front door , she was smiling and explaining everything so kindly.
Here’s a thing , yes , they accept ONLY cash , so be prepared to bring some money on you , so you don’t look angry and surprised at staff and think “wth, i have only card, how come you don’t have machine ? ”
I went inside and met all the staff , and oh boy .. they all were super friendly and helpful! Some of them kept taking photos and videos of me and huskies(and even tho I didn’t ask them). Some other staff kept telling me stories of those rescue dogs. Anyways , my point is , staff was super nice and friendly. Doggies are super cute and smart(well trained). Drinks are tasty. And place is so clean! 500B is worth to pay , even 1000B is worth to pay , because you are getting free drinks , tons of videos and photos, 1h of playing, petting huskies , and not SOME HUSKIES Daniel. And I’m sure all money what customers are paying it’s all going on dogs supplies , like food, vet, medications, grooming etc.
So , if you are a dog parent, or love animals so much, I recommend you to go there and spend 1h of wonderful time! If I was rich, I would tip all staff for good service and for being nice with dogs lol. God bless the owner’s kind heart of that place for taking care of all dogs! And I’m sorry Daniel that you got bad experience...
