KOSMO Resto & Bar — Restaurant in Phra Khanong Nuea Subdistrict

Sitting in front of a bar demands a holy feeling, unless it's just a bar with a 19-year-old cashier behind it who only learned the menu's recipes for the sake of his job then we don't mind because it's happening everywhere in BKK with pretend-bartenders. Anyways from the beginning, so you take a taxi direct to a venue, no where else, even the partner/owner sees you arriving directly there, you say your hellos outside, then you directly sit on the empty bar while the restaurant had 2-3 tables. That partner (Italian) went behind the bar, recommended a luxury draft, I had a half for a paid-trial, then I ordered one more but whole-draft, then that person gave his back and went on the corner on his phone till god knows when. Like he's done his job, gave you the feeling that the venue had a host, but then it turned out like most venues in BKK which just wants your money, so of course the taste of the beer goes down with the bar not matter what they got. That's even worse than arriving somewhere but you already expect the bartender to be just is a cashier. Did they have a great collection of beers? Yes! But it means nothing. Of course left after the beer, and that guy didn't even ask me how was everything, or how was the food my sober girl ordered. If you can't handle a bar and want to be a kitchen guy, just don't exist behind the bar please. Also there was some misses and delays, get small receipts for captain orders and stick them behind the bar by labeled immovable clips,...

I am not really a guy who is giving away 5 stars easily. As one of Bar hoppers/ Bar lovers, This bar was worth 5 stars for me. One of my life best bars, I insist. I stopped by this bar when I was staying at close hotel on Mar 15th. When I stepped in first time, It was just 4:30pm and nobody was there so I was a little suspicious about what all Google reviewers are saying. When Happy hour started, all activation get started very vibrant, I tried almost every beers, I liked Estralda DAMM Barcelona the best. Vedette Blonde and White were also neck and neck. House wine was pretty dry and made me tipsy already on 6:30pm. Today's special "sausage" @290 Bhat made me regret to have had light dinner before coming, it was sooooo yummy. Why I have had TAOCOBELL....Stupid. See ,my picture all people sitting outside when I finished my round exactly at 7pm. All fully seated. I was almost extending staying one more night there because of this bar but could not change the plan already set. I will definitely come back and ready to enjoy another round. Even you are staying Skhumvit or Sathorn a little far from here ,PraKanong or W district. I still recommend you to come here and stop by. This bar is worth for first round!!

I’m writing because I had a disappointing experience during my recent visit, and I hope sharing this will help improve things.

We ordered two beer glasses twice, but it seemed the staff didn’t pay much attention. But it was not a big issue. Later, I ordered chicken wings, but my order was forgotten. After waiting some time, I had to follow up and reorder. I thought everything was sorted, but then I was told that since happy hour was over, the price would be 140 baht instead of 109 baht.

It’s not about the 31 baht difference — I just wanted my food. However, the way it was handled made me feel as if I couldn’t afford it, which was quite insulting.
