Goose Cafe — Restaurant in Phra Khanong Nuea Subdistrict

Disappointing. The service and food does not match the prices. If this cost a few hundred baht then I wouldn't expect much but we paid 1500 baht for two people with no alcohol and left feeling ripped off. It's really no wonder the place is always empty. I really should have said something but I'll say it with my money instead and never return.

Here's the issues we had. We ordered some starters but then they brought our mains out 5 minutes after we started eating. So annoying. How difficult can it be to let people sit and enjoy their food instead of rushing them??!? We were the only customers.

2.The pasta was slightly under cooked. It was not 'al dente' Flavour was good but squid was sparse. If you're going to serve pasta a basic requirement is to know how to cook it properly. For these prices they need to do better.

We ordered a dessert to share called 'goose egg' which costs 240 baht. The picture on the menu takes up an entire page so gives the impression it's a substantial size. When it arrived it was this tiny little thing consisting of about 3 mouthfuls. It really was a WTAF moment. More like a quail egg

The staff all stood behind the counter looking at their phones and chatting. We had to yell out to get their attention. At 7:30pm they start closing up the shop making us feel like we should hurry. Just really sub par service. It's not a food court, it's a restaurant charging high prices. Train your staff better. I have to say the waitress who served us was friendly but not experienced. ผิดหวังกับร้านมาก ทางเราได้จองห้องส่วนตัวกับทางร้านไป แต่ร้านให้มัดจำ 5,000 บาท หลังจากมัดจำไปไม่ถึง 24ชั่วโมง มีเหตุจำเป็นที่ทำให้ไปที่ร้านไม่ได้ จึงขอมัดจำคืน แต่ทางร้านปฏิเสธที่จะคืนเงิน ทางเราต่อรองกับทางร้านเรื่องขอคืนเงิน เนื่องจากรู้สึกว่ายังใช้เวลาในการจองไปไม่นานก่อนจะขอยกเลิกจองไป ทางร้านไม่คืนเงินและเสนอเป็นวอยเชอร์แทน โดยทางร้านแจ้งว่า เป็นวอยเชอร์ที่สามารถทานที่ร้าน หรือสั่งกลับบ้านได้ ในราคา 5,000 โดยมีระยะเวลา 1 เดือนในการใช้งาน ทางเราติดธุระไม่สะดวกไปทานที่ร้าน จึงแจ้งทางร้านไปว่าไม่ว่างจริงๆ ทางร้านจึงแจ้งว่าเป็นสั่งกลับบ้านก็ได้นะคะ (เนื่องจากเป็นวันสุดท้ายก่อนหมดอายุวอยเชอร์) ทางเราแจ้งคนที่เกี่ยวข้องให้เลือกรายการอาหาร (เป็นการสั่งอาหารให้พนักงานในบริษัท) แต่หลังจากนั้น 15 นาทีทางร้านแจ้งว่า วอยเชอร์ของเราไม่สามารถใช้สั่งกลับบ้านได้ ต้องทานที่ร้านเท่านั้น สิ่งที่เรารับไม่ได้คือทางร้านเป็นคนแจ้งเองว่า สามารถสั่งกลับบ้านได้ และจำนวนเงิน 5,000 บาทก็ไม่ใช่น้อยๆ แต่พูดเหมือนจะให้เราทิ้งเงินจำนวนนั้นไปเปล่าๆโดยที่ไม่ได้ช่วยอะไรเลย ทางร้านแจ้งว่า วอยเชอร์นั้นนั่งทานที่ร้านเท่านั้น แต่เราเช็คดูแล้วในวอยเชอร์ไม่ได้เขียนอะไรแบบนั้นเลย แถมทางร้านก็เป็นคนพิมพ์มาบอกเราเองว่าสั่งกลับบ้านได้ เราสงสัยว่าการสั่งกลับบ้าน กับการกินที่ร้านต่างกันยังไงในเมื่อเราก็ใช้วอยเชอร์เหมือนกัน ทางร้านก็ไม่ได้เสียอะไรอยู่แล้วกับค่าอาหารที่เราจ่ายไปแล้ว ถ้าไม่ได้สุดวิสัยจริงๆก็สามารถไปทานที่ร้านได้ แถมเรารู้สึกว่าทางร้านก็สามารถนำโต๊ะที่เราไม่ได้ไปใช้ให้ลูกค้าคนอื่นใช้ได้ต่อด้วย เราไม่ยอม เพราะเราคิดว่าไม่ได้เป็นความผิดเรา ทางร้านแจ้งเราผิดเอง สรุปสุดท้ายร้านก็ให้สั่งกับบ้านได้ ทางร้านแจ้งว่าต้องจ่าย Service Charge ด้วย เนื่องจากเป็นวอยเชอร์ที่ใช้ทานที่ร้าน ต่อให้เราสั่งกลับบ้านก็ต้องจ่าย Service Charge (แบบที่แจ้งไปก่อนหน้าวอยเชอร์ไม่ได้มีเขียนว่าเป็นแบบทานที่ร้าน หรือสั่งกลับ และพนักงานเป็นคนแจ้งเราแต่แรกว่าสั่งกลับบ้านได้ตั้งแต่วันที่ให้วอยเชอร์มา) แต่เราขี้เกียจต่อล้อต่อเถียงเลยยอมจ่ายก็ได้ เป็นจำนวนเงิน 452 บาท ซึ่งเป็นจำนวนเงินที่เยอะ และเรารู้สึกไม่ได้รับการบริการที่ดีกลับมาเลยแม้แต่นิดเดียว

สรุปที่พิมพ์ไปทั้งหมด การไม่คืนเงินมัดจำเรายังพอเข้าใจได้ว่าเป็นความผิดเรา ทางเราก็ยอมแล้ว แต่การที่ทางร้านแจ้งว่าสั่งกลับบ้านได้ แต่สุดท้ายกลับคำแล้วบอกว่าแจ้งผิด มันดูเป็นการปัดความรับผิดชอบให้ลูกค้าเกินไป และยังมาคิด Service Charge อีกไม่รู้ว่าทางเจ้าของร้านทราบเรื่องนี้ไหม แต่คงจะเป็นครั้งสุดท้ายที่รับประทานอาหารร้านนี้...
