We decided to stop to eat here on the way north. The good was nice, it didn't have the overwhelming sweetness that a lot of seaside Thai restaurants have, for which I was thankful. However, I have to give it 3 stars for the anxiety the atmosphere, or rather the seating situation caused me. As you can see from many photos, people sit on cushions on the floor and hang their legs off in the wholes in the ground. For most of my sitting I was anxious for anything to drop off the table, whether it be my phone, hat, or purse into the whole and be lost forever. Not to mention the amount of rubbish and rubble that has already ended up beneath us, it was scary to imagine if I somehow ended up there myself. This would not pass any health and safety checks in any other respectable establishment. I honestly would have not minded sitting with my legs crossed or on a plastic chair, if it just meant that I wouldn't had to be anxious for my belongings, myself, or look at the awful view underneath my legs. Once we finished our food, the wind blew, and got our tissues to fall into the whole, adding more to the issue. Very POOR service. The owner has a very bad attitude about service. He even started a fight with the clients when they didn't get what they ordered. WTF! No wonder why all staffs have the same manners. The taste of the food wasn't that good that I think it's overrated. There's nothing fascinating about the river view. No car park. Sorry to say this, but the owner/manager here is very low educated. He always screams and alomost start fighting with clients. Bad attitude and so rude. I highly recommend not to go to this restaurant anymore if you don't want to have bad experience for your trip. Not only me saying this, but you can check others who review this.
