Phuket Romantic Dining — Restaurant in Phuket Province

We traveled to Phuket in rainy season, so there was always a high chance it would rain the evening of the booking. You're offered the choice to postpone dinner to another day if there's a high chance of rain. We had limited time in Phuket so even though it was raining we still went ahead. Because of the rain we weren't able to sit out on the beach initially, but staff had set up a beautiful display upstairs from the hotel restaurant (see the photo). We had the entire floor to ourselves with two staff members tending to us. Felt extremely VIP! The staff were extremely attentive, professional, kind and polite. We had our first three courses upstairs whilst waiting for the rain to stop. We watched the sky turn pink and purple as the sun set and listened to the tropical rain drops beating away, always so peaceful listening to heavy rain when you're dry under cover. Thankfully, we were able to move to the beach cabana by dessert. The cabana set up was beautiful with candles and fairy lights. We spent dessert sitting watching hermit crabs crawl across the beach, listening to the waves and watching flashes of lightening intermittently illuminate the sky from the storm in the distance. I booked a beach cabana as a surprise for my partner on our anniversary. Prior to arriving, I was concerned about how close other cabanas/tables would be to ours, but after we were seated it was clear that there is a nice amount of separation and really does feel private. We arrived as the sun was setting. The atmosphere was fantastic, with the waves gently lapping up a few feet away in front of a gorgeous red sky. The staff were really brilliant. They were very attentive without being over bearing and very friendly. Despite the food being delicious, it was the only part of the experience that got 4/5 stars - possibly overshadowed by how amazing everything else was. We ordered the surf & turf set menu and there was simply too much food. We were only able to finish about 1/3 of it. In addition to that, the seafood was all cold, on purpose I think, but there's something about eating cold mussels and cold lobster (that was just stuck inside the shell) that didn't fully appeal to me; that's probably my personal preference. Either way, I'd rather have too much food than not enough! I asked my partner to marry me during the meal and she said yes.. so I'd like to think that the location contributed towards that success! Would definitely go back again, but probably just have the turf menu or...

Amazing spot amazing staff. I booked this experience to propose to my now fiancée and from the moment I was in touch with them via WhatsApp they took great care of my (surprise) plan. Everything was clearly communicated (menu, timing, location, occasion). I told them I was planning a proposal and they said no worries we know what to do.

Food and atmosphere is superb and I’m sure a lot of other reviews point this out already. The private beach Cabanas are well spaced apart so you get a nice private space in front of the beach. Excellent variety of menu choices that can accommodate most if not all preferences/restrictions. We didn’t get any add-ons or themed setups and yet the standard cabana set up was already so beautiful.

I also want to further add that Honey, Ice and James were simply amazing. They knew exactly when and how to photograph our special moment and even took the time after the actual proposal to do a mini photoshoot by the beach. They were also such a joy to chat to during the whole evening.
