On a recent holiday Friday evening, I stopped by the Big Mama's Sports Bar to try the hamburger and have a beer.
The cheeseburger was obviously home-made and was pretty good albeit a bit crumbly. There are a good number of fries included. I remembered to snap a photo.
This establishment only offered a large ice cold bottle of Beer Chang when I visited; the other varieties of beer brands are offered in small bottles. (Note: My Beer Chang was served in a Beer Leo glass and beer cosey. I prefer a large bottle of Leo over Chang. Don't be confused by my photo.)
The service was quick and efficient, but I got the feeling that I have to become a regular before I get a bit more "friendliness" from the waitresses.
My burger was 250 Baht and the large bottle of Beer Chang was 120 Baht. Perhaps a little above average but par for the course for "farang oriented" sports bar action.
I noticed a diverse array of expat customers in terms of nationalities, families, small groups and loners.
