We went twice here during the stay in Hua Hin, the staff are very helpful and are great in service. The food was very top quality and halal which made it great.

A very flavourful experience, especially with their different levels of chilly, first day i opted for master's degree (2nd most spicy) and i was blown away, it was really extremely spicy. Had to gulp many fresh lime sodas to help cool, but it was a great experience.

For regular spicy folks, i recommend the medium chilly option, which helps you get the taste of the food as well.

We had sea bass, once with thai curry and once with black peppers, along with fried rice and garlic breads. Also we tasted chicken black pepper and chicken cashew nut.

I am not a big writer of recensions/scorings. After checking out others we spent 3 nights of one week at DAR restaurant with 3 adults and 3 kids. Service done by coowners cook and her husband essentially a two man show. Food doesn’t come at the same time , why? Because everything is Prepared freshly by her and the food is just typically Thai with super ingredients. Pricing fair and what i especially liked is the 8 levels of hotness 😉 in the menue starting with kindergarden over primary school several other levels and finally doctoral grade. Recommend not to go higher than 55% if you are not used to hot food. Average cost was 3000-4000 Baht for 6 persons with a sufficient amount of beers and Gintonics. The lady chef Dar just has a very bad attitude! I comment to the lady chef that the food had no chili in it. And she was referring to the menu and that is up to the guest to say what level of spicy you want. I said that it is difficult to find that regulation and would be nice if the person who takes up the order also asking about the level of spicy (which she did not ask about). The chef made an issue about this and start to rant that it is up to her and her restaurant policy. I think she is just silly to react like this to the guest with innocent comments.
