I recently had the pleasure of dining at Oceanside Beach & Restaurant in Prachuap Khiri Khan. Situated inside a luxury local resort, the venue is beautifully decorated with tropical accents that add to the overall experience. And the pool is a great addition, perfect for a refreshing dip before or after your meal.
From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the breathtaking panoramic view of the ocean. It's the kind of view that makes you feel like you're in a postcard. Even during the hot summer months, the refreshing sea breeze helped cool us down a bit.
While some of the dishes were average, I was blown away by the seafood spaghetti with tomato sauce. The flavors were exceptional and would give many Italian restaurants a run for their money. The freshness of the seafood, combined with the perfectly cooked pasta and the tangy tomato sauce, was a winning combination.
The staff at Oceanside Beach & Restaurant were also amazing. They were welcoming, attentive, and always ready with a joke or a story to keep us entertained. It was clear that they take pride in their work and genuinely care about their guests' experience.
In conclusion, Oceanside Beach & Restaurant in Prachuap Khiri Khan is a restaurant with potential. With its stunning view, standout dishes, great service, and beautiful tropical decor, it has all the makings of a top destination. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this place in the future, and I encourage all foodies to...
Read moreThe food was good.
The place seems to attract sort of self-centered, always selfie-taking people because of the restaurant setup which we kind of understand, but it is good to be aware of it since it felt very odd to us.
When we came to the restaurant, it was 90% empty, yet the restaurant staff did not allow us to sit at the beach front stating that there is a reservation of all front tables coming in 10min. We specifically asked for a short dinner and if we could sit up there, but it was declined.
So we spent 1h at the back corner of the restaurant and at the time of paying there was still nobody at any table dinning at ANY of the front tables. Very dissapointing indeed.
We had our meal order misunderstood, so it would be great if the staff repeats what was ordered before passing it to the kitchen.
The prices are way too high for some food for our taste. Phad Thai 350 THB.
On top of that, the prices you see on the menu are without VAT (7%) and service charge (10%).
So you end up with 400 THB for Phad Thai at the end.
We do not like the enforced service charge because we believe that it should be the choice of the customer based on the service quality provided and not a standard fee. These price addition-practices are "common" in large establishment in Thailand, but it feels like being bamboozled, twice.
We want to see the final price of the food on the menu and not at the end playing counting games.

The room? Stunning—beyond expectations! We arrived late in the evening and decided to have dinner at the beachfront bar. The ambiance was simply breathtaking. Every staff member served us with warm smiles, making the experience even better. The food was delicious, especially the Tom Yum Goong—it was outstanding! To top it off, there was live jazz music, which is only available on Fridays and Saturdays. Sitting by the sea under the moonlight with incredible music made for an unforgettable evening.
The next day, we indulged in the spa services, which included a body scrub and an oil massage. It was pure bliss. Two hours felt far too short—we could have stayed all day!
That night, we returned to the bar with champagne in hand, soaking in the serene atmosphere and jazz music yet again. Midnight came all too quickly, as time truly flies when you're having the time of your life.
Putahracsa Hua Hin exceeded all expectations. If I could give 100 points, I’d give 1,000. Thank you for a perfect stay—see...
