Small independent cafe that focuses on all the right things and does them excellently. 33 seats total (10 outside). We visited at 11:30 on a rainy Saturday, total 5 customers during our 15 minute stay.
They've just opened a second location with the same name 2.5km north of here with a more expanded food menu.
Coffee: Espresso was perfectly balanced in flavour and was a great double ristretto. Piccolo was also just right. 10/10
Patisserie: First, I love that the simple selection. Each one chosen to go with coffee. No silly overly-creamed birthday cake like monstrosities here. The financiers are worth the visit alone - served warmed with that elusive crispy edge perfectly intact. Only one other standard patisserie pairs with espresso as well as a good financier - the canelle... Also perfectly executed. Crisp shell, moist sticky inside. Not too sweet. Not overwhelming list of food items on the menu at a reasonable price, worth a stop if you want good quality cup of coffee and yummy desserts.
They have variety of coffee beans to choose from. The lovely staff (lady) who takes orders gives good recommendations for a perfect cup of coffee. We love the Thai bean (Mar Jan Tai, Chiang Rai bean) they use there—smooth with good body. She also recommended one special bean with strawberry finish for iced-coffee and we liked it very much.
Smoked Salmon sandwich was lovely with the sweet mustard dressing.
Vanilla bean almond eclair is super delicious—must try. They also have the chocolate filling ones.
We packed 2 for our friends and they loved...

Finally on my visit, order a canned Thai tea, piccolo latte, and a vanilla eclair.
Ordering was easy, there was a line but it moved quickly. Staff was kind.
Seating inside mostly taken during peak lunch time, but i decided to sit outside, in the shade, very chill, can watch cars drive by, good atmosphere.
Eclair was crispy outside not too sweet filling, it was also pretty big, recommend you try it yourself. Hot piccolo latte was beautifully presented and i very much loved it with the eclair.
Canned Thai tea was in a very pretty can, taste not too strong, recommend you drink before ice melt so it’s not too diluted.
Can’t miss this spot on your...
