“Cheap Ass” Thai Food Restaurant — Restaurant in Rawai

I’ve been coming to Cheap Ass Restaurant since 2018, and it’s hands down one of my favorite local places in Thailand.

The food is always delicious, freshly cooked, and very affordable. I’ve tried almost everything over the years — and never once was disappointed.

It’s a family-run spot with a warm, friendly vibe. The owner Tar, her daughter Sai, and other family members make you feel welcome every time.

I’m not a tourist, I live in this area and therefore do not have the funds to sit in a high end restaurant everyday.

This is my number one place to have very well made, quality food that is very reasonably priced. You will always be welcomed with a big smile and served by the friendliest of staff. Food is delicious, while the meat clearly is a low cost choice. There definitely are better restaurants for the same price around the corner. Cheap is not the correct word, it's average price and good food. No more no less. The ambiance however is definitely on the cheap side and really nothing to come back to.
