Had Mexican food craving before flying here, so bookmarked this place when surfing the map. We visited on a rainy evening which was good as we were the only ones dining indoors.
We had one energetic toddler who needed entertaining to keep her on the chair. The waitress was a darling as she produced a box of color pencils and recycled paper for our kid to color that keep her occupied while we dined.
In addition, they put some chips on a small basket and passed to her to let her play and engaged in eating when she was saying no to the yummy nachos.
I was seated facing a sign on the road that says Lynn's famous springrolls which initially amused me. While I wasn't exactly a springroll connoisseur, there were enough rolls under my wife and my belts to be able to discern if these were famousy.
The wife ordered both fried and fresh styles. The fresh ones were slick on the skin, hmm, and felt like they were brushed with oil to keep them springy. And they tasted quite fresh and yummy indeed.
The fried ones were crunchy and flavourful. No doubt the sauce played a huge part too as it went well with both style of rolls.
The nachos and quesidillas were served with sour cream, salsa and guacamole. Both were great tasting and we polished them off the plates. There were good amount of avocado in the chicken and avocado quesidilla when I peeled off the tortilla to add some guacamole and happen to catch a glimpse.
I had a margarita drought for many months now and was sorely tempted to order one to go with the food but the wife gave me a look you could cut durians with. The fact that I had to drive our family back to our villa also played a part. Thankfully the staff was accommodating to my asking a blue raspberry margarita to go.
The only shame is that we were too busy gobbling up the food to actually take some instagramable shots of the meal, which will no doubt led to another visit in the foreseeable future to...
Read moreI don’t write many reviews but must put in a good word for Lynn’s Mexican Restaurant. I’ve not really had Mexican food before and so asked for Lynn’s recommendation. The Beef Fajita was superb. I had it a little more spicy than usual, and it was perfect, blissful. Fiddling about making my own wraps is not usually my thing, but this worked well. I could add what I wanted, and exactly how much to the soft warm Tortillas. All the ingredients were fresh and so tasty. Washed down with a margarita, happy hour perhaps, as is was 50 THB cheaper, and then a Corona with lime. We parked down the side road next to the Family Mart, opposite the restaurant, but there is parking behind the restaurant, go down the road opposite the Family Mart, on the same side as the restaurant. When my family and I are next in Nai Harn, Lynn’s will definitely be the place to stop, everyone is very...
Read moreI had dinner at Lynn’s Mexican +Plus+ and it turned out to be a great local surprise. The place is small but full of life — cozy, colorful, and with a friendly vibe that makes you feel like you're visiting someone’s home.
We ordered quesadillas, chips with guacamole, and beer. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. The quesadilla was especially good — soft tortilla, fresh vegetables, and flavorful filling, paired with three types of sauces on the side. The chips were crispy, and the guacamole had the right balance of texture and spice.
The staff was kind and service was fast. It’s a casual, laid-back spot — not fancy, but made with heart. Prices are fair and the atmosphere is relaxed, making it easy to enjoy the food and just chill.
