Coming Home Cafe & Seascape — Restaurant in Rawai

I’m giving 2 stars because the coffee was nice but we asked for the simplest food and the restaurant was not crowded at all. Maybe 3 tables including ours. We waited about 30 mins for a sandwich with cheese and tomatoes and a lemon tart. There was a big table with a family next to us who received a lot of cooked food but our sandwich would not come. We asked for it, the waiter said just a moment and we waited and waited and nothing. Finally we went inside to ask what is happening and no one knew anything about any sandwich. Absolutely ridiculous. We even mentioned we don’t want meat in our sandwich and the waiter wrote that down. How can you forget that, especially when you only...

We came two times, once for a coffee and once for dinner. They have some Thai food choices but most dishes are more contemporary like veggie or fruit bowls. Their breakfast menu seemed also very nice but we didn't try it. The coffee was really good. For dinner we had the steamed fish and a veggie bowl with salmon and both tasted great. This place got everything right and also has lower prices than most of the places around the Rawai/Naiharn area, especially if you adjust for quality. Restaurants with good views usually tend to have subpar food and especially coffee, so I stay away, but here I was pleasantly surprised. Not only it's extremely instagrammable, but also delicious.
