RUDE - RUDE owner. She invited me yesterday to come for evening live band dinner. (I’m traveling alone.). I got there at 6pm like she said, and in front of everybody in a loud voice she said: “alone? You came alone?!” And she sent me away!! She said I can sit at the bar if I want…. I declined and walked away…. Punishing a customer because they came alone? The summit of rudeness. What’s next? The Paradise Beach Bar is a wonderful place to enjoy a refreshing drink or meal whilst taking in the beauty of Rawai Beach. Situated on the quieter southern end of the seafront it sits right on the shoreline with wonderful views out to the Andaman Sea. I ordered the tamarind prawn soup but unfortunately for me it was a little too spicy for my liking, the chilli overpowering the tamarind flavour. The ingredients however were fresh with the prawns being firm and juicy. Being right on the sea front you can expect to pay a little higher in price, but not exorbitantly so.
