Great food and even greater location and settings. Stylish decor without being pretentious. The minestrone was on par to what I make myself or you eat in good restaurants in Italy. The gnocchi were a bit hard but tasty nonetheless. Small touches like parmesan cheese freshly grated at the table shows great attention to details. Given the name (lodge of the fisherman) and the location (on a fisherman beach) i would have liked some locally caught wild seafood offer. I am an experienced seafood connesoir and one thing I love in Rawai is the availability of high quality wild fish that I regularly get from local fishermen and the odd monger. Some of the fish is better than what I used to catch and eat in Italy. All at less than 1/10 of the price. After 8 years in Phuket I still have to find a restaurant that could offer the locally caught best fish. They only offer farmed groupers and barramundi (aka white snapper...

Shared the Gnocchi Pesto (which was very good) but the star of the show was the Tagliatelle Al Salmone. Freshly smoked salmon on homemade pasta, unbelievable flavour. Every bite better than the last.
The owner's son helped me select the Chianti, which was excellent and went well with my meal. All of the staff were very attentive, professional, and friendly.
The location is perfect on a little patio just a few feet from the harbour. Great rustic decor inside and out.
Finished with Tiramisu which was good but not outstanding, in my opinion. Would like it to be a bit more layered and less creamy. But I am nitpicking.
Only other two minor suggestions: If the bread served for the olive oil and balsamic were foccacia or sourdough, it would be lovely. The ambiance is amazing but I think some Italian music would tie it all together! :)
Will definitely come back if I am in...

A local tailor in Kata Beach recommended this spot, and wow it did not disappoint. We dropped in for lunch by the beach and ended up having one of those meals you still think about days later. The lasagne was rich and cheesy, the bruschetta and garlic bread were perfection, and the chocolate fondant was pure molten chaos (in the best way possible).
The vibe was immaculate, sea breeze, sunshine, and the friendliest staff who made us feel like we’d just stepped into a family kitchen somewhere on the Amalfi Coast.
If you’re near Rawai Beach and craving a proper Italian fix, this place absolutely understands the assignment. 10/10 highly recommend would come back just for the...
