El Greco - Greek & Mediterranean Cuisine Restaurants (Rawai) — Restaurant in Rawai

Read with understanding of this place being open for just a few days: Grilled meat was as good as it gets. Grilled mix came with a Greek salad (with a bit too much vinegar in it), but no tzatziki. It took a long moment from a waiter to understand what we want and why, when we asked to bring tzatziki separately😀 Tzatziki however was not that great. The service itself has a room for improvement. We ordered a bottle of wine…which we had to open and pour ourselves. Kitchen window is located in the indoors part, so staff either keeps the doors open to hear the bell with aircon blowing 16 degrees straight at you, or they close the doors, turn up the temperature…and the volume of the bell. Outdoors area is basically right on the road, so pretty noisy. Overall, we’re happy to have a proper Greek restaurant in the area and hope for further...

Sadly I can not give a better revision. The El Greco looks so nice and cool from the outside and the ambience inside is also just nice. Great tables, feels like you are in Greece.

But sadly the food was not good. I ordered a salad (yes I know, that's not the best dish to order in a Greek restaurant) and my husband got a pita and sadly he got food poisoned after this. My "mixed" salad where just some green leaves, a little cucumber and a lots of onions. I didn't expect so much but for the high price I would have liked to get a bit more then just green leaves and onions.

So sadly we won't come again and I cannot recommend this place, even though there are many other places with better and not so expensive similar...

A restaurant with delicious food, but not a very pleasant atmosphere.

From the roadside the restaurant looks very beautiful. But sitting outside near the road is noisy and hot. Inside of the restaurant was also too hot. Despite the fact that there are two air conditioners, the temperature inside was the same as outside. And there were also a lot of mosquitoes.

I was very surprised by the “compliment”. It was boiled vegetables on a plate with broken edges. This is the worst “compliment” I have ever seen. This looks like an insult, and it would be better not to give it at all.

The dishes we ordered turned out to be tasty. Every dish is cooked well. But service is slow.

I have mixed feelings...
