Wyndham La Vita Phuket — Hotel in Rawai

I traveled non-stop for 3 years and it's the first time I've stayed in an hotel(?) so far from the stars level advertised.- It's not an hotel but a group of studio reorganized as an hotel. With little kitchen at the entrance.- The swimming pool view is very subjective. I had a direct view on the (very close) corridor of the next building. So much for intimacy. Awful building arrangement. And no pool view as advertised on the room (except if you get your head out of the window and bend)- the ground was somewhat dirty(dust easy to remove if there was some cleaning done) but the worst was the bath mat was full of disgusting stains.- it's supposed to be a 5* near the sea, and it doesn't provide any beach bag/beach towel in the room. I've been to so many 4* and more in Thailand and it's the first time I found none. Not a big deal but from a 5* in Thailand it's a big surprise.- I had one requirement for double bed in my reservation, not separate. When I get into the room, it wasn't a double bed. A 5* will automatically reunite the twin bed before getting in the room.- After asking to reunite the bed, this is how they made the bed sheet 😂 (see the picture), I have no idea where the staff was trained, it's not even a 1* staff level. The bed sheet opening was side ways, but inside they had another bed sheet opening at 90° of the top layer. Mental...I was so tired I didn't bother doing the bed sheet all over again and just moved the pillow on the side.Overall, it's not bad to live here, but the star level should be correctly set. It's a 3 stars...

We stayed here for 2 night in 2 separate rooms - a pool access and a two-bedroom suite. “Satisfied” might even be an understatement. We were greeted buy helpful, kind and energetic FO staffs upon arrival from our 7 hr-drive from Hatyai. Special shout out to the Assistant Director of Room who was extraordinarily kind. The rooms were spectacularly immaculate with modern interior design and sublime finishing sand amenities with the pool access room as my favorite as we ended chilling by the pool chitchatting winding down from our excursion and adventure around the island. The facility here is pristine especially the main pool with all the slider and apparatus for kids to spend their energy on. Mine loved it so much that he insisted on going to the pool first thing in the morning the next day. The breakfast presented with varieties of selections and food stations. We particularly enjoyed the pancakes and chicken sausages. |Also, have I mentioned the location? Just a few hundred meters down the hill and there it was - the vibrant and exciting Rawai beach. We highly recommend this property for avid travelers or adventurers alike, especially families with toddlers, who seek a comfortable and easy-to-access place to stay whose itinerary prioritizes hopping around the South/Southwest section and the old town of Phuket island, this place’s got it...
