The place feels like a cross between a café and a friend’s apartment — comfortable but full of character. The owner and chef, Ms Toon, is a friendly, funny woman who speaks both Thai and English fluently.
The food isn’t strictly traditional Thai. You’ll find Korean pork with kimchi or sea bass salad — all bliss. She uses a variety of sauces and spices and can adjust the flavours to your liking. She’s also happy to cook something off the menu if you ask, though it might cost a little extra. Most of the customers here are regulars — locals who chat away with Toon like old friends, which says everything you need to know about the vibe.
