Loved loved the local taste of Samui food.
I ordered the stir fried squid with sweet soy sauce and eggs stir fried with Thai veggie.
Also got to sample some nam prik and fresh raw veggies, coconut fish soup and sour curry that she made earlier for herself.
Lady is super friendly and you can call ahead to let her know you’re coming - she speaks basic English. She also makes TikToks and lifts erryday and might show you videos of it.
Dishes are very flavorful so if you like lighter taste you can probably reduce the sugar or salt. But I liked the taste. Also wear mosquito repellent due to open air!

Read moreWent in today and the food was great. It’s an authentic Southern Thai cuisine and is very local. I had a sugary stir-fried squid (I don’t know how to call it exactly) but it’s really good. The squid was fresh and things were just on point. You should give it a try. And…the other stir-fried melinjo leaves were also so so good.
Suggest to call to check and reserve the table first because the tables are quite limited and the owner runs everything herself. Some dishes might not be available as some ingredients are seasonal.
