THE BAP — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

This was the first time in my life that I returned food back to the kitchen. They brought me a tuna bibmbap with frozen fish. I mean it was literally frozen, I was served pink chunks of ice. I’ve never seen anything like that before. After I returned it, they brought it back… but fried. They fried frozen tuna and brought it back to me!

Their “all you can it” pork is mostly fat, almost no actual meat. Gimbap was also bad looking, don’t recommend. The vibe of the place is not really nice either, I’m surprised it has 4.7 at the moment. Huge disappointment, had to go to another restaurant after, because I was...

We went here after a Thai friend read the reviews, and we all loved the food. It was my first time to have Korean, and since I am vegetarian the owner recommended a veg bibimbab, and it was awesome- great flavors. And I asked him to explain the proper way to eat it so he mixed it up for me with the sauce, and showed me how to put it into the lettuce leaves, like a Korean taco. And our friends loved the BBQ set and there were loads of veggie side dishes, and I was so obsessed with the red sauce that I asked to buy some! Great little Korean restaurant in Choengmon area. We opted against the buffet instead choosing a beef, leaner pork option and kimchi pancake. With the traditional complimentary condiments it was plenty for three people. Place had a few tables of people , clearly popular with regulars. The owner was lovely man checking on everyone and helped us with our bbq. This is the third Korean we have tried on Samui in last few months and we will definitely return. Thankyou for good...
